Subject: Wasnt the BR always noobier than the DMR?

I change shapes just to hide in this place but im still im still an animal...

DMR fires a single shot, so you cant miss, the BR farts out 3 shots, so you just have to aim around the body area and spray. There have been countless times in halo 4 where i've got some nice headshots in the back of someone only for them to turn around 4 shots in and just spray at me with the BR, killing me.

On SWAT its also the easiest to use. I never liked it in halo 3 either, could have just been an apalling connection though -_-

Anyone agree?
Before i am accused of being the biggest scum on the earth for liking the DMR over the precious BR i have been playing since CE was released if that makes any difference.

I'll bring the tritium laser cutters if you bring the beer!

Funny story.

Either way you're playing Halo, noob.

DMR has 3x scope
DMR has unscoped auto aim (red reticule) range 8 meters longer than the BR
DMR kills faster

DMR is much easier to use than the BR in Halo 4

No point in putting something funny, clever or informative here. Most probably im going to get perma-banned anyway.

No OP, the DMR is the better gun or noobier whatever you want to call it. The DMR isnt a a 4sk like you suggested...

For a br to be a 5-shot, all 15 bullets need to hit. If you want to be any good with the br you need to hit all bullets, which is harder to than hitting times with the dmr.

I do like the carbine, but it has the same reduced range for auto aim as the BR. Plus, the clip size won't even let you kill 2 people without reloading. I also think it has a slower kill time than the DMR and BR, but I might be mistaken.

BR only has to hit 13/15 bullets. It's very forgiving when going for the headshot.
The Light Rifle is less so because it requires 14/15 when unscoped.

Lol if you miss 1 or 2 shots with the DMR, you can still kill someone, while for the BR, if you miss 1, you're basically screwed.

Note: This isn't counting variables, eg: Strafing, jumping etc.

Fastest kill times:

1-LR(scoped)
2-DMR
3-Carbine
4-BR
5-LR(not scoped)

Shots to kill:

LR(scoped) = 4
DMR = 5
BR = 5
LR(not scoped) = 5
Carbine = 8

I think this is right but not 100% sure.

I always choose the thing that lets you reload weapons quickly for the Carbine and BR loadouts. It is very helpful in certain situations.

The Halo 4 BR is a 13-shot kill weapon.

Nevertheless, the DMR kills faster and has a better zoom.

Covan was here, December 20th.

Come back later, after he's out of Parris Island.

I've always felt that the DMR was harder to use than the BR, and that's a reason why I think so many people disliked Halo Reach.

You can actually shoot, miss, and drag your aim across their head and still have it count as a head shot.

The DMR is flat out hit or miss, plus it USED to have bloom, making it even harder to get perfect 5 shots.

I'm pretty sure that's right. The Carbine shoots really fast, so it balances out.

The best one to use, in my opinion, is the DMR. If you know how to use it, you're almost unstoppable. My first Halo 4 match was like 25 - 3. My service record supports the DMR argument.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

BR has to have more shots hit + burst fire. Therefore not as nooby as the DMR.

I like using the BR the best. It's harder to miss IMO. And I can usually out-strafe people and win.

The Halo Reach DMR was harder to use than the BR. That's why everyone puts up that stupid "randomness" argument when talking about it.

I feel the same way; that it's harder to miss. I just like the Carbine a lot for some reason.

Implying it isn't true.

No matter how stupid you think it is, you're always going to be wrong if you think that way.

The TU DMR makes barely pacing shots a better option 99% of the time, and real delay in pacing with the TU DMR vs spamming, so there's no reason not to. Halo 3 BR is more random with its -blam!- spread, anyway.
