Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

iPhone 4s user here. My friend has the SIII and he hates it. It is way to big and the battery life sucks. My iPhone is simple to use and very convenient and the size is also nice

iPhone has better and more apps.
It's smaller, even the 5 isn't that bad.
It's got a more simplistic and east-to-use OS.
It's the thing everything competes with, effectively 1/2 of the market so looking for help with it online is easy.
Simple music management with iTunes directly onto your phone.
Superior web browser, IMO.

someone told me the apps are better on the android because there's more you can download? Like he was showing me an app that allows you to download free songs.. can't you get into trouble for that? o.O

on my old android I had that app, I don't know if you can get in trouble but I'm going to say yes. Android apps in general suck though because google play (iTunes for android) allows 3rd party apps.

Honestly, since ICS and JB, Android isn't much different than iOS. There's pretty much identical apps on each platform.

All apps except what is published by Google or Apple are third party apps.

Yeah, but android is an open market or whatever - so everyone can publish whatever they want. Apple you have to go through certain steps to get yours out on the market... making it harder to throw out apps for users that are "illegal."

Openness trumps security. Just check reviews before you download something. Very few malicious apps make it into the market; the ones that do are tossed out quickly.

There's an app on the App Store called "Downloads" that lets you download all types of files in the browser. I've downloaded 800 songs with it illegally. Kind of the same thing I guess.

Best maps and videos in HQ and HD:

Youtube account: chaimtwee (HQ)
Youtube account: Halo3QualityVideos (HD)

Check them out.

I have the Galaxy S3. My sister has the iPhone 5 (wich is basicly the 4)

1. Fast

The Galaxy S3 is faster

2. Visual voice mail

What? Like face-time/talk? Both phones do well but the Galxy S3 has a better front camera.

3. Easy apps

The iPhone has more apps, but the Galaxy S3 has bigger screen to play with. It's what you prefer, really.

4. User friendly

The iPhone is more user friendly but the Galaxy S3 is more customizeable. I have the Galaxy S3 for 2 months now (i used to have a iPhone 3G for 3 years) and to me, the iPhone looks like a phone for people who don't want to do anything with their phone. It's TO simple, you could say.

5. Durability

Galaxy S3 screen will break faster but has removable stuff like the battery and memory card, so you can always upgrade or fix things faster.

Obviously i would go for the Galaxy S3, but you should decide for yourself. One thing i should add: The GS3 is so much easier in transporting files on and off the phone. It's like plugging in a digital camera into your computer. The iPhone is still stuck with iTunes, wich i'm not a fan off anymore.

Other stuff i noticed:

- The iPhone now feels like a little midget phone
- The Galxy S3 feels slightly to big now. Not Galaxy Note big though. That thing is ridiculous.

- The iPhone 5 and GS3 bot survive full days on the battery. No problem there.

- Both the iPhone 5 and GS3 have beautifull screen quality.

- The Galxy S3 has a slighly better camera, but the iPhone 5's camera is faster.

- I've had more problems with apps crashing on the iPhone then on the GS3.

- The speakers on The GS3 are really crappy. The iPhone speakers are quite better.

And that's basicly it.

with the biggest problem being multitasking.

It absolutely drove me mad to have to go into an app, come out, look up the one I want, go into that, come out scroll for the one I was in on the icon bar....STUPID!

All you need to do is double tap the home button to multitask, it's pretty simple and easy to use.

For what you're looking for the iPhone 5 is going to be the best, if you liked the 3gs you're going to love the 5 with the longer screen and how fast it is, i'm pulling 15mb using lte and going in and out of apps is almost instant.

Chill wit dat illegal activities discussion, yo.

OT: Also, there's no GSIII cases on here, so clearly the iPhone wins.
