Subject: The Arbiter should be pdotagonist in H5

I wanted to become a recognized member of the flood, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Arbiter is a badass. He should return and be the main focus of halo 5. Agree?

Sorry for spelling. Typing on phone.

I'm sure that would sell.

I would enjoy playing as the Arbiter again yes.

Well, up until Halo 4 he was the only character in the entire franchise that was interesting in the least, so yeah. But not full protagonist, I'd really like to see another split-protagonist thing like in Halo 2.

One thing that bugs me is that his head isn't solid, or any Elites head for that matter.

I agree for the most part. Hood is a character I found fascinating as well as Cole, but yeah, Thel is much more interesting than John.

Maybe a Halo 2-like thing. Personally I think Halo 5 should be Chief and Arby fightin' some Brutes, just like old times.

they ARE a beastly combo...

It would be pretty cool I guess. Halo 2 Heretic level was amazingly fun and intense - It had you running through hordes of sentinels, Flood and heretics. I love the character development for him too.

Thel 4 lyfe! But in all seriousness if they can make John somewhat humanized I can't even begin to imagine what they could do with Thel. Way more interesting character with an actual story arc.

I would like to see an Arby & Chief combo again. Spartan IVs could be the 3rd and 4th characters. Or they could play as elites again. Perhaps they could choose, sorta like in New Super Mari Bros.

Sure, let's give 343 another chance to -blam!- up and reuse assets (like they did with Anniversary and like they'll do with Halo 5).

Halo 4 Chief = reskinned Noble Six with a little more health and slightly better jump height

Surprised there's no criticism on the typo in the title of this thread...

There shouldn't be a Halo 5

This.... in Halo 3 he didn't have much personality build because he always seemed like MC's sidekick, with no story of his own.

I think he should have a split campaign story of his own like in Halo 2 for any upcoming Halo titles

Oh Yes!

Give us two 8 hour campaigns (Normal) and I'll be happy. With the campaign at least.

Halo 3 is where the morons of the universe congregates.

I am thinking of an old story. "Three Billy Goats Gruff" (hint the troll dies at the end)

If you had an electron microscope, you still couldn't find the -blam!- I don't give.

He was all ready the main protagonist of Halo 2

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

That would be awesome, but I think it would be a bit hard for 343 to think up a plot for that to happen.
Like the Arbiter fights off enemies on Shanghelios, while MC fights off enemies somewhere else, and then they team up again to defeat more Forerunner or something, but I don't know.

That would be really awesome, actually. My idea made a lot less sense.

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

343 doesn't have Kojima size'd balls. No one does. Bungie didn't even play the Raiden card fully.

The Halo 3 campaign was pretty weak overall, but the strongest point was experiencing Arby and the Chief fighting side by side. So much badassery. I'd love to relive the good old days and see the pair team up again sometime in 343's trilogy.

Wheres Meh Sniper?

Youtube page

No. I hated that I had to use him as a character in H2. Sure he is a great character but I don't want a game on him.

  • 12.17.2012 3:59 PM PDT

I would actually enjoy that and if you read the books Glasslands and Thursday War it would actually make sense that he would be going after the Storm Covenant.

I thought I read somewhere that Arby isn't alive anymore at this point in the Halo story....maybe not.
