PHASE 1
-often torture animals.
-wet the bed beyond the age of 12.
-in their 20s or 30s
-single or divorced
-lower to middle class upbringing
-absent father
-obsession with fire
-hates society and blames them for being introverted
-high IQ
-abuse during childhood (bullying, family, etc.) verbal, physical, etc.
- preoccupation with death, possible suicide attempts
Mass murderers are often loners who have very few social connections.
A)But most importantly they become detached from the world, and begin to feel a US vs THEM mentality. They also start to lose hope that they'll ever have a normal life, or ever build another human connection. Because every attempt and interacting and establishing friendship has ended in complete failure, leaving the worse than they were initially.
B)They start to see every little insult, mean joke, harsh comment as somehow attributed to them, this is where the narcissism comes into play
The fact that they can't establish relationships with others (A) leads them to believe that everything in (B) is used to further insult and ruin them
They feel they can't communicate with their families because their families are largely unsupportive
They essentially begin to feel trapped with no exit from their situations, and ingrain in their mind eventually that this is who they are: The Outsider
Most commit suicide at this point
Phase 2
Now that they've established this identity of being the outcast of the world, they proceed to work with the world, always finding ways to disprove their lrejection through chance occurrences. They still want to return to "Human". They will push themselves to do activities that other humans do, but are let down when they realize they simply don't fit. The constant thought pounds through their mind that this is not me, along with, "This is going to end in disaster with my life becoming worse"
So then they shut themselves out from the world, stop interacting with unless absolutely necessary.
PHASE 3
At this point. the only thing the person knows that exists is himself, a state of depersonalization. A pancake being flipped 3 times to this person might mean they need to check the mirror, and other ridiculous connotations are normal for this person. Not only is he an outsider, but he considers himself another species, perhaps a divine creature sent to exact justice in some way. There is no heaven or hell, no moral bindings, just cold calculations and processes. A wonderful sunrise to one person might mean the start of a brand new day, but to the phase3 it means nothing except another day to further along whatever deviant plots they're hatching
The phase3 hopes deep deep inside himself that someone can come save him, bring him back to phase one and make him normal again. But the cold logic that his brain puts out quickly squashes that hope, which will reemerge from time to time
Nothing holds any significance at this point and all that's left is to listen to onesself as to the next course of action, however illogical it may be.
This is where the phase3 paths diverge, with the more violent prone one more likely to act out in a horrid fashion of mass murder
the more passive or content one might take an artistic outlet, such as feverishly making paintings, working on an instrument, etc.
The difficulty with these is that they go largely unnoticed to others, since most of the processes occur within the afflicted persons psyche. That's why alot of the time people will be surprised to know that the quiet asian guy in the back of the class turned out to be one of the most prolific mass shooters in US history. Or the handsome moderately wealthy white male who owns a farm and likes reading can mastermind a plot to slaughter the most people singlehandedly in history.
As I made this I thought of the majority of the population of the Flood
