That's true. I suspect natural disaster. Probably a solar flare. If so, it'll end very quickly.

Wow. You're an idiot.

If only a couple died, this honestly isn't something to unordinary. In my local news, two police officers were killed tonight.

Are we really this desensitized?
I can safely bet that 99% of them are lying out their ass.

Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Someone needs to capture a gunman alive.

Regardless, I expected this kind of thing. Be on your toes everyone, panic is the ultimate "terror" weapon and I think that something may just happen on that Mayan date.

This sucks.

I'm not trying to be insensitive to the many who lose their lives to violence on a daily basis - especially not those in the recent days. But honestly things have been a lot worse in the past for us as a species.

Things aren't getting worse. They have actually drastically improved over the past few centuries.

It's a tragedy that people are losing their lives needlessly. Especially those in the Sandy Hook shooting where the victims were too young to even fully understand morality.

But even with all of this going on and the doomsday prophecies going on I'm still very optimistic about the species. 99% of people do not live their lives in absolute fear it may be their last day on earth and the same cannot be said for people who lived in years prior. Whether it be the Cold War, the Bubonic Plague, World War II, World War I, famine, any war for that matter, the Great Depression...

I didn't even scratch the surface. We have it good these days and many people tend to see things through the eyes of today. The past really can teach a person how to live. And I'm not even a historian or majoring in history!

The media keeps glorifying the killers so all the people who have nothing to live for do these things so they know they will be mentioned all around the world.

What do you mean? Like they are sayibg its ok that Adam Lanza (killer of children) did nothing wrong because he was mentally ill? If so I know exactly what you mean.

Well then I'm glad we're not in World War III. That wouldn't end well.

Maybe we need to stop publicizing the names of the wackos?

Copycat murders happen after a major mass murder.

We need to stop glorifying these people. The media needs to stop profiting from these tragedies.

I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

I hope this asshat gets locked up forever. Hell knowing Texas I hope he gets the death death penalty, but his charges aren't severe enough.

WOW GUYS A SHOOTING WOAH.

Yea, if that mass shooting never happened, no one would care about all these news stories. However, everyone thinks there are mass shootings all the time now because they are reported since more views means more money. A big commercial airplane crashes and then you see plane crashes all the time in the news and everyone asks why there are plane crashes all the time. All of this stuff isn't special or mean anything.

Yep, a few months ago someone I knew died in a small plain crash. Was it on the news? Not at all.

When a small plane crashed killing all 4 occupants, including the young pilot from my area, it only got small mention by national media. Not ejough drama or carnage, i guess.
