Subject: You guys think shootings are bad?

There is a certain point of tolerance that should never be reached.

It's a very commonly understood fact that you can make homemade explosives. The rules on B-net are clear, and I'm not going any further than to say that the information isn't all that secret.

The internet has all the information you'd ever need, and today, you get online anytime, anywhere. It's out there, and anybody can find it.

So what's the point?

The point is, where as a gun requires a person to be present, an explosive does not. You can remotely detonate a bomb, and even if somebody had to light the fuse and run away, chances are that bomber is going to be lost in the confusion.

They can kill more.
They're easier to acquire.
They've silent until they've already struck.
They can happen anywhere.

You think guns are bad, imagine what the scene would look like if they used home made explosives instead...

I would say guns are a bit easier to acquire than explosives in modern America.

As was the case in the Oklahoma City Bombing. Though most of The Flood has probably never heard of it because they weren't even born.

Should we ban fertilizer and vans because a guy used them to commit murder?

But guns can continue to kill until the amount of ammunition the person is carrying is gone or if he has been killed.

You need to figure out how to make them by checking out books or searching the web, and then buy the ingredients. The government has a very watchful eye and generally finds and arrests people making deadly bombs. Also you can arrest someone for attempting to make a bomb. You cannot arrest someone for buying a semi-automatic rifle and 100 rounds of ammo.

Dude, it is not illegal to buy the components for making such things. Are you really this clueless?

There are hundreds of websites where you can buy things like thermite or other chemicals.

The Government can't watch everywhere.

Fun fact, did you know the Columbine shooting had bombs involved, but the explosives failed to go off?

Indeed it did. However, maybe this told the future mass shooters that they are ineffective and unreliable. Maybe these shooters liked seeing the kills happen themselves.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Yes, we do think shootings are bad.

We also think home made bombs are bad. Even if they do happen a hell of a lot less frequently.

Where vans and fertilizer made with the sole idea of using them to kill people?

Bombs are much more dangerous than guns are.

Who am I?

mah twitter

More than often these people want to kill themselves while taking as many people with them as they can. Guns are easier to use and more relieable too, I can't see these people turning into suicide bombers.

Yes, guns are easier.

Bombs are potentially more dangerous.

I can see an entire school getting wiped out, nearly 99% death toll, with some well placed explosives.

I'm going to take this time to point out that anybody who so much as tries to detail how to make an explosive will likely be met with permabans.

Guns are no longer solely used or designed to kill people. They have many uses nowadays. Knives were designed solely to kill people but they also have other uses. Should we ban knives?
