If people look at me funny, I stare them the -blam!- down giving them the "the -blam!- you lookin at?" look because I feel like I can take em. Haven't had any jokers trying to escalate things further yet.

2 days later, OP gets beat the -blam!- up by some random dude.

Probably that if not worse. Based on the OP it is glaringly obvious he has never been in a fight before in his life.

That's not a bad thing.

The thing I'm concerned about, OP, is that you say you wouldn't look for a fight, yet your new confidence comes from your perception that you could defend youtself better in a fight. I've been in fights, albeit in a controlled setting, and I can tell you that no bag-work I had done prepared me at all, and a false sense of confidence in my abilities would be dangerous. Just be careful OP. People train for years without being in fights...just don't get yourself hurt.

Hey I've been my whole life without a fight and I hope to keep it that way. I'm just saying if it comes down to it, it comes down to it. I may not be prepared for the fight, but at least I'm more prepared, even if slightly, for it now by doing some work.

You know what's not worth my time? Talking to you.

Looking at my old messages your claim is wrong. Our conversation took place before Gears 3 came out and you said you would be better than me. So in other words I guess I should be saying something like "Did you get better since the beta or Gears 2?"

Maybe, but strength/speed/endurance aren't the only things that determine who will win a fight. In a professional or staged fight sure those are more important, but for an average fight there is a lot more to it.

I went back and read the messages and oh god, I dislike you even more now. We had an argument about whether Gears 3 was more fast-paced compared to Gears 2, which you thought it wasn't and then you went on about all this bs how I don't know what I'm talking about, a noob, etc. And then you send me this when I ask you to play against me.

"sorry I don't play gears of -blam!-"

Not responding to any more of your messages.

I don't think I have ever called Gears crap before at least not regarding Gears 2 or 3. I do remember having to more or less beg you for your stats after like 3-4 messages and you finally gave them to me. Then you saying

Like I said, wait till September.

/argument
kind of makes it hard for me to believe I called the game -blam!- and that you ever challenged me. It seems to me you are either lying or confusing me with someone else. Since in the messages you sent me there is no mention of playing against each other.

"Your eyes are full of hate, forty-one. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength"

Take a read OP

might save your life, confidence without experience is dangerous. You say you can now walk right past intimidating groups without being scared, well that's not the point. The smart thing to do would be to keep your distance and walk on the other side of the street or what have you. Staring down people who "look funny at you" is a good way to start a fight, not prevent one.

You need to think smarter, not tougher

Skimmed through it. If I'm walking straight ahead, I'm not going to cross the street and walk a different way if I see intimidating people, what a -blam!- thing to do. Unless they look like they're going to mug the -blam!- out of me, I'm walking to where I need to go.

And I know my limits. If I saw -blam!- Brock Lesnar looking at me funny, I'd probably just avoid eye contact, but still keep my head up walking past him. But if it's a guy I feel I can take on, then I'll give him the eye. And once again...I'm not out looking to start fights.

If you look at people that look at you "funny" then you are asking for a fight. As for if they look like you can take them looks can be deceiving. For all you know they could have a knife and then those skills you have are absolutely worthless. Then there are tons of people that have been in numerous fights and look the same as most people.

You contradict yourself. Scanning for threats and keeping track of where the dangers are in a given situation is one thing, "giving someone the eye" because they were looking at you is actively provoking a fight which you yourself have admitted to not being prepared for.

Not if they just look at me, -blam!- I get people looking at me all the time, I just do a quick glance and be on my way. But if they do something like this prick the other day did, where he pretty much walks right up close to me and looks at me like he's about to say some -blam!-, then I'll look right back at him and give him a dead ass look, which is what I did. He didn't say -blam!- and just kept on walking.

I want one for my anger. When I get angry I like to punch things like walls, chairs, myself, etc. I really want one

I'm pissed off all the -blam!- time now and honestly, I don't feel like it helps much with anger. Seems to make me more aggressive actually. Still good exercise.

Then one day you get beaten to a pulp by some guy for looking at him funny.

I don't look at guys funny. If I see someone looking at me, I look back at them and if their look is hostile, I stare them down until they look away.
Judging by this, it's a miracle that you are still alive.

Because people don't usually look at me in a hostile way.
