Subject: Favorite music genre and time period for the music.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone
The choosing of guns or fighting with swords
The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

Dude, Iron Maiden's self-titled and Heaven and Hell.

The reason I didn't include 1980 is because I really, really hate Paul.

WTF, Paul's awesome! You should at least put up with him for the instrumental side.

Why do you hate Paul?

Well, there's tons of live versions with Bruce + Iron Maiden's self-titled.

Why I hate Paul? Firstly; His singing. Secondly; He whines like a little -blam!-.

But you like Blaze though... right?

No... Not really... Blaze is a good singer and all, but in Maiden standard... No.

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

Electronic/Orchestral music!

No idea about the Time period though :P

The Flood's resident metalhead.

Metal: 1980s - present

I find restricting myself to certain time periods pretty silly, there's much good music coming out even today.

Alt rock, circa 1980-2000.

Death Metal
1990-2001
I still like the newer stuff, but it's focuses too much on being brutal.
Agreed. Breakdowns used to mean something. You'd reach the epic breakdown (if there even was one) and just hit that next-level feeling. What a rush. Now the whole song is a breakdown, there's no tension in the music anymore.

You're talking about Deathcore and that isn't brutal. I'm talking about stuff like Putrid Pile, Cerebral Bore, Disentomb, Abominable Putridity, etc. It's pretty good, but no where near Death, Nile,Suffocation,Morbid Angel, etc.
Do you like Origin?

Please do not send me group invites.

Hard bop was best in its original time, mid-50's through 60's. Miles Davis, Art Blakey, John Coltrane...

My brother listens to a lot of deathcore, so I left my Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas CD in his room and he said 'that isn't music for humans' haha

I've personally found that death metal just has no good flow. I prefer something like Opeth or Black Dahlia Murder which is more melodic.

I like some Opeth. I used to get stoned, turn the music off on Star Wars Battlefront 2 and play Ghost Reveries instead.
