A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

I've never been a big Star Trek fan (I've only seen First Contact) but I really really enjoyed the 2009 JJ Abrams movie.

Some of you have probably already seen the teaser teaser trailer

But here's the real trailer which is about a minute loner

Anyway thoughts? I think it looks rather interesting

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

Not bad. I'll see it.

Major props to my hommie Sheeef. He made Recon possible for me. Long time recovering emails and passwords. And it was his. lol.

Old but it looks promising.

@spaboolly

Having watched Star Trek all my life, it took me a little while to come to terms with the whole "blow up Vulcan and create alternate timeline" thing, but it does free them up to make movies like this.

You have to admit, old Star Trek had some great movies (and some awful ones) but none of them were action blockbuster material, even for their time.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

There is a scene at the end of the trailer, where they show Kirk putting his hand over another on glass.

It makes me wonder if they are trying to do Kahn, or at least recreating Spock's self sacrifice.

I'm gonna be a nerd here, but that wouldn't make any sense. They shouldn't meet Kahn until they find the Botany Bay, and then, Kahn will have to turn again. I hope they don't try to stuff that in too...

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

I saw an extended preview when I went to watch the hobbit, it looks soooo good.

Its already be confirmed that the hand on our side of the glass is the villains, not Kirks.

Except that the whole 'alternate timeline' thing will allow them to tell whatever story with Khan that they want. They don't necessarily have to follow the same chronological canon.
