7even is Darker

Too bad that was a total flamer -blam!- ass metal band at the end of the game.

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

Really freaking digging TranZit currently, campaign was a blast and those RTS like missions were a pretty cool thing to add. Multiplayer has become stale mostly because it feels to much like MW3 and not BO but I still like it more than Halo 4.

halo 4 > BLOPS 2
::facepalm::
I'm a huge Halo fanboy, but Charlie makes a good point.

See, I would agree that Halo 3 > BlOps 2. That easily. Bungie nailed it on Halo 3. But Halo 4 was just too serious in what t delivered. They tried too hard, and it showed.

The primary reason I disagree is the repetitive rehashed gameplay of the Call of Duty franchise.

THIS. I just can't touch another COD because of this. MW3 sealed the deal for me.

The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

That is just your opinion. Halo 4 is much better imo.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

Both games dropped the ball and were lacking when compared to their predecessors.

Pass the controller bro

I haven't played Black Ops II yet, but I'm not surprised. It was the same thing last year.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

So, do all the Call of Duty games happen in the same universe, or just WAW/BO/BO2?

Halo: Reach was better than Halo 4?

I liked 343's approach. The gritty and violent scenery finally made Halo what it was meant to be, a violent and bloody war.

Treyarch > 343

It's been that way since 343's conception.

Try renting it, or play at a friend's house.

The gameplay is actually pretty different.

For one, you get to adjust your loadout before a SP mission starts. Another is that several of the addons and perks adjust how you play. The enemy AI has increased, as they use squad tactics, and the use of drones alter how you fight.

They also have a meta game that allows you to control, and switch between, drones, soldiers and auto turrets, that is a new way to play a level. You literally are the squad.

As far as the different positions, jumping, sprinting, what could they change?

Hot topic incoming, the fire rises.

Also, of course 343 took it more seriously. It was their first game and they had a lot of pressure on them to make a good game. Treyarch didn't need to take it seriously at all, since the game would make billions anyway.

Anyway?

Different from Halo 4, Black Ops 2 didn't come broken and full of glitches.
Halo 2 was like that when it first shipped, but you don't see people remembering that. Jump off the hate bandwagon and come back to reality.

Halo 2 is a terrible example due to the fact that it is a 8 year old game and was introduced when xbox live was at it's infancy [Notice I don't mean it's the first xbox live game], online console gaming hadn't progressed till that point. Plus most of the glitches were actually fun [subjective] and were reasonable considering how ambitious the project was. Although Halo 4 isn't a glitchfest it's still is a terrible Halo game. [Subjective]

Lol hate bandwagon. try actually thinking about why Halo 2 was the game it was. That's a good example of using Halo 2 as a self-reflection for you not practicing what you preach.

Reach is the exception. I never refer back to/compare to Reach for anything. Halo 3 was better than Halo 4.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

I haven't played Black OPS 2 yet, but I agree with you. But I did play the fist one and I still find that batter than Halo 4.

lol well, to be honest, in terms of campaign the first one didn't make much on an impression on me. I mean, yeah the story made enough sense and it had tons of action, but all of that epic feeling was numbed down because at the end of the day you were preventing something bad from happening, which was the releease of the Nova 6 gas, whereas in other CoDs there were wars going on in front of your eyes.

I did enjoy the Campaign, but to be honest I don't feel like replaying it, which is a shame since the multiplayer is flawless and has one of the highest replayabilities. At least for me.

Man, I just really like BO.

The campaign really doesn't have that much replay value, but I do like the story of it. I really like how they made you think Viktor Reznov was still alive after Vorkuta.

I agree with you about the MP. I'm still playing it to this day. I like what they did with the money. They made playlist where you can win and lose money. From what I know I don't think there are other FPS that does that. also I know this has been done before, but I really like the emblem system. It allows the people to have individuality. Besides clans and emblems you can make from YouTube. I haven't came across the same emblem twice from a different person.

Having just finished black ops 2 20 minutes ago I shall say that the campaign was indeed more enjoyable than halo 4's.

The only thing I disliked was some of the dialog. Namely the admiral on the Obama. He was REALLY annoying how they had him repeat the same cuss word over and over and over again.

It isn't our shiznit anymore.

Halo is like a childhood friend who you used to like when he was original and didn't care what others thought of him. Now he's just trying too hard to act cool and fit in and has stopped talking to you and others because it makes his image bad but still wants you to like him.

  • 12.17.2012 10:35 AM PDT

Yeah, some of the dialogue wasn't the best but I did like the choice system, overall the campaign flowed pretty well.
