So you're complaint about Halo 4 that it stuck to canon.

Seriously?

Even die-hard Halo fans had problems with fully understanding what was going on, and even then, 343's storytelling is poor to say the least.

How could Master Chief survive a nuclear explosion that ocurred in a nano-second after he pressed that button at the end? SPACE MAGIC obviously.

I watched my brother playing it a while back, when he got to the point where he was on a small army of horses, charging up to a tank with helicopters flying over head and explosions every where, and all of that topped off with a quick time event, i looked at him and said:

Whaaaaaaaa??

honestly, quite a lot of the things they did were pretty neat, but the whole thing just felt like it was pandering to the male teenager and "lol so random XD" demographic.

Actually, there was no quicktime event. At all.

The horses were when you were fighting in Afghanistan in the 80's with the Mudjahadeen. The used horses, and the level actually made a lot of sense.

So, I think you are being less than honest with us. Its OK to dislike the game, but you don't need to lie about it.

+1 for you good sir.

I like how they made some of your decisions effect the ending. You can have 3 endings, right?

"Right now it is raining methane on Titan. The planet Uranus is, hilariously, orbiting the sun sideways while Venus spins backwards. We sit here on a planet marked with collisions, rocked by earthquakes, shaken by storms. A planet doomed to be fried in radiation as its magnetic fields collapse, until the sun grows and leaves nothing of the earth but dust. Here we sit, glasses on our noses, inhalers in our pockets, braces on our teeth, and we say "Behold the perfect ORDER of it all!""

Cortana was in control of that hard light. Used it to protect chief.

How the hell can you not understand that? And I could tell what was going on just fine.

Opinion, move along.

Yes opinion. Best and Better are subjective statements. 2+2=4 isn't a subjective statement. But Yellow being a Better color then Red, but Orange being best of all is a very subjective statement.

So, yes, this is an opinion. Its also my opinion that too many of you need everything telegraphed to you to avoid thinking. Like someone having to say its their opinion when making a subjective statement.

Deal with it.

Everybody on what used to be the Halo forums, now likes CoD more.

I might have to throw up.

I think the quick time event he was talking about is when you have to push the horse off you and when it shows you blowing up the tank with the mortar shell.

That barely counts as a quicktime event.

A hard light that was successfully deployed in less than a nano-second? Yeah right. So much depth and logic going on there. Cortana had literally no way of knowing when the bomb was going to detonate.

Why did the Didact not kill the Chief in the two occasions he had him floating in front of him? Why are the Covenant suddenly mutated? Why was the Didact's faith left out so losely?

No, for me BlOps 2 is the better game.

Define for me the non subjective definition of "Better."

I literally saw him get run over by a tank two times in a row because he couldn't press a button fast enough, if that isn't a quick time even then i don't know what is.

And i didn't play the game, i watched my brother from time to time and was impressed now and then, but that scene was just, well, whaaaaa inducing.

So, i think you're misinterpreting me, It's OK to have a different opinion.

yes that one, if you have to press a button suddenly to do something, it's a quick time event.

My girlfriend likes CoD and so we rented it. I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh at the games campaign. I still can't believe people pay for these games.
Mp was the same as always. Play two games and its fune and after that its boring.

343i was trying way too hard to be canonically correct when making the game, and in doing so took it all too seriously.

And it still failed at that.

iPhone 4S 64GB Black.

Even if I thought Halo 4 was the worst game ever, it couldn't be worse than Black Ops 2.

I also hate to say it, but I have to agree.

Halo 4 is repetitive, Spartan ops is boring, decent campaign, and the fact that custom games and forge is basically ruined, just ruins the game for me, and MP like the OP said takes itself to seriously, it's not like H3 where I would get on, start a lobby, and have some fun.

Black ops has a more interesting MP, a pretty good campaign, Zombies which is always amazing, and cool new additions like theater and the cod broadcasting thing. Just a better game overall.

Agreed that Forge was ruined.

HOWEVER, all CoD games past 4 have been awful. I still occasionally play CoD and CoD 2, which are both fairly decent. The same cannot be said for things like MW3, which was appallingly awful.

343 definitely dropped the ball on a lot of things. Forge, Matchmaking, the Pelican, NO new equipment except for some mecha-thing, and the Forerunners. Oh, God, the Forerunners. Am I the only one who HATES the last mission or three because of endless annoying Prometheans?

Not to mention Black Ops 2 brang the highly acclaimed gametype of Kill Confirmed back, alongside other loved gametypes, whereas Halo 4 couldn't even keep an FFA nor an Objective playlist.
