Anyone else laugh at how badly this game was handled from launch window?
Honestly, let's look at the facts.
1) This game is a bomba.
Price dropped 33% in 5 weeks? Game is now selling for $39.99. That's sad.
2) 343 is horrible at managing the game. Let's see all the problems that raised in the first few weeks, feel free to add if I forget anything.
a) Server issues for the first few weeks, many users couldn't even play the first few days.
b) 343 (343 IS a part of Microsoft, so Microsoft messing up means 343 messed up) messed up The Crimson Map Pack and screwed over many of limited edition users, and war pass buyer. Claims it was a free 7 day trial, but we all clearly know it wasn't and it's just a cover up.
c) People got BANNED permanently yesterday for playing the Crimson Map, apparently the users got unbanned today, and it only affect less than 200 people, but that's still 200 people that got screwed over.
d) Users who bought a legal copy and played the game early got banned, account and console, and still haven't been unbanned.
e) Microsoft screwed over Limited Edition users even more, giving everyone who played early Specialization codes early for playing before November 20th.
f) speaking of which, many players haven't gotten their codes, leaving them capped at 70, it's like 343 doesn't want players to play their game.
g) Speaking of 343 not wanting players to play their game, a third of the game was disc locked, and you can't play it at all offline (Spartan Ops), and if you do play online, YOU HAVE to wait a week for 343 to add the missions, horrible.
h) Oh, and speaking of an incomplete game, how long did it take for the file share to go up, a month? Is it even up now?
i) 343 is quiet and shady about everything. They refuse to talk to the community often, except for their useless updates on Wednesday.
Did I miss anything? I probably did.
Anyways, back to facts.
3) This game is the the worst reviewed main Halo game to date.
An 87 out of 100. To compare. Halo CE is a 97 out of 100. Halo 2 is a 95 out of 100. Halo 3 is a 94 out of 100.
Even Halo:Reach scored higher than this game. This game is down their in the ODST and Wars level. For Microsoft's biggest, AAA franchise, a 87 out of 100 is awful.
Speaking of which...
4) This game is also the worst USER reviewed Halo game.
A 6.9. The average user review is a 6.9. Halo CE's user review is an 8.5. Halo 2's is an 8.1. Halo 3's 7.6. Halo 3:ODST is a 7.1. Halo Wars is a 7.2. Halo:Reach is a 7.6. The average player/user hates this game more than any other Halo game. That's sad.
5) Speaking of users, the population for this game is terrible, and dropping badly EVERY day.
Notice that huge steep decline, that grows every day?. Is Halo 4 losing it's population faster than Reach? It appears so. No one wants it play this game anymore.
b]6) The game sold less, and worse than Halo 3, and Halo:Reach.
[/b]
Courtesy of the November NPD. Halo 4 placed at Number 2, and only sold 3.2
02. Halo 4 (360) Microsoft - 3.2M (Reach and Halo 3 did 3.3 million)
Oh, and Halo 4 sold less than Halo 3 and Halo:Reach in Europe as well.
'Halo 4' ranks as the 18th biggest SKU launch in terms of week 1 units, but does not beat 2007's 'Halo 3' (15th biggest SKU) or indeed 2010's 'Halo:Reach' (12th biggest SKU).
Also note, Halo 4 had more time to in November to sell copy. So Halo 4 still managed to sell less than Halo 3 and Reach, even though Halo 4 had 2 more weeks (than Reach) and 4 more weeks (than Halo 3) to sell.
I can't think of more to add to this list off the top of my head, and I'm running of characters to use anyways, but I might add more to the list, for know I'm done though.
So, can anyone actually disagree that this game isn't the worst Halo game yet? Because it is.
