Hey actually...I just thought of an alternative to Fraps. MSI Afterburner. It has a built in FPS counter and a screen recorder (for games and whatnot...like Fraps).
Now...I dunno if MSI Afterburner huts your FPS hard or not. If somebody knows...please let me know. Well, everything that's recording 1080p at a 30fps rate or higher will hurt your fps, fraps only does it so badly due to it's extremely large file sizes, if you could film in a 20 second video and check if the files aren't too large then your recording program probably won't slow down your game too much
