Ya...so just go with the iPhone 4. You get the same thing and get to keep $100 in your wallet.

The $100 really isn't a big deal to me, so I'm sticking with the 4S

Ok...if a camera update is worth the extra $100...go ahead I guess.

Fun fact: You can get the iPhone 4 for free and with the extra $100 get a camera better than the one on the iPhone 4S.

The 4S is worth the $100 imo, it's a lot more powerful, especially when it comes to graphics.

Trying to get a Nexus 4. They're cheap and awesome.

Ya...I wish it was with more providers so it could be cheaper. From my knowledge, T-Mobile is the only wireless provider who officially carries the phone.

But hey...at least the Nexus 4 is unlocked...so you can take it wherever you want...and activate the 4G capabilities easily.
The reason for buying it directly from Google is that you won't be locked in a two year contract with a carrier. You can jump around as often as you like in order to find the best coverage/service for the best price in your area. It works out to about the same (and in many cases less) when you just pay for the phone outright, instead of the carrier's subsidized prices + 2yr contract.

The only thing I don't like about the Nexus 4 is its lack of an external SD slot. It's the reason I'm sticking with my Galaxy Nexus for now.

Huh...never knew that you could switch around carriers like that with an unlocked phone...so there are more benefits than I thought to buying an unlocked phone...

Definitely. I'm with AT&T right now because they have the best LTE coverage in my area, but I could switch to any carrier (including the cheaper ones like StraightTalk) next month, when my billing period ends, if I wanted to. All I need is a sim that's compatible with their network.

Not really looking to upgrade right now, I'm waiting until my contract ends so I can get a free upgrade.
