OST was brilliant, but its inclusion in the game was poor.

This. I could barely hear the music in game.

The Risk Is Worth The Reward.
Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Really? Man I can't agree with you OP, I thought it was a really good soundtrack.

Signatures are for little kids.

I was hoping to hear 'Like a Virgin' at the end when Cortana and MC were touching but I guess they couldn't pay Madonna enough to use it :(

meteor

117
Green and Blue

Those are the only memorable tracks that I liked. The rest are really forgettable and extremely standardized (chanting tenors when ancient villain arises... yeah, ok.).

To me it fell flat. None of the soundtrack was as memorable as the soundtracks from previous halo games.

This is Halo

The main menu of Halo 4 is -blam!-.
I have to agree with the comapison. Halo's music has already left its mark on video game history and replacing it with something lower...is not good.

The soundtrack was okay, some tracks were amazing, but all in all, it was generic.

"It is the cruelest fate, to have written words that meant well and see them made wicked and unwise. What was meant to encourage life, used instead to justify taking it."

The only time I actually noticed the soundtrack in campaign was the last level. I remember nothing from other times.

True. These moments in particular?

Yes, pretty much the only 2 moments I remember.

It was okay, not as good as other soundtracks though.

I assume everyone here is 14 years old until proven otherwise. -bobcast

I think the Halo 4 OST isn't that bad. It's actually amazing compared to other games. It's just not up to standard for Halo games. I still love it though.

And although I disagree with you, I -blam!- lol'd at this:

I have finally gotten fed up with Neil Davidge dragging his testicles across his keyboard

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

GAZEBOS!

Does anyone else think Jeremy Soule should've done Halo 4's music?

117, although it wasn't even composed by Davidge, is one of the best tracks in the series.
To Galaxy and Arrival are also brilliant.
Legacy and Green and Blue are worth mentioning.

And let's not forget Never Forget. (No pun intended)
I love how Davidge put a Halo 4 spin on it.

I think the overall soundtrack is on par with Marty's.

"Insert generic signature here"

As someone who owns and enjoys pretty much all Halo music, I can tell you that Davidge nailed it.

The score is good, not Marty good, but still better than the generic stuff thrown in Mass Effect.

Wanna hear -blam!--tier halo music?

Listen to the official Halo 4 remixes.

God that's ear -blam!-.
