Simple Plan for ever! Yes I'm a emo and I don't care what you say. I love all my friends and my guitars! Emo4life! <3

Just leave it. Most of the time it just ends up being something small so it's not worth getting angry at. Anything that does set me off crying or shouting, is usually quite major. For instance someone made a joke about people with Cystic Fibrosis. I had a friend who died of it, so I was angry.

I don't know why but when I get hurt I get angry and start hitting things. The other day I got hurt badly and threw the remote control for the tv against a wall.

I've got a fan!

I used to get migraines daily as a teenager (not headaches, I'm talking full-on nausea-inducing, curled up in a dark, quiet room - migraines), and a way I dealt with the pain was by pinching a nerve located in the "webbing" of your hand between your thumb and index finger. About an inch from the edge of the skin, you should be able to feel muscle and cartilage and if you press hard enough you'll feel a sharp pain there. Your mind only processes one major source of pain at a time (to prioritize to yourself), and a pain that you can expect and control is a lot easier to bear than a random injury or headache.

Vae Victis!

Swear, with the intensity increasing with the level of pain.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

At first? Yell and curse.

After that? Distract myself with something that involves as little stimulation of screwed up area as possible.

Vote for me for a free cookie.

I'm okay being physically getting hurt, but when I watch a sad movie or lose someone close to me, I cry like a little -blam!-

  • 12.17.2012 11:29 PM PDT

dont like my driving? stay off the sidewalk

1. damage assessment: am i bleeding? did i break anything? is the injured part of my body still functional?

2. can i block it out? can i still go about my business, or do i need to drop everything and focus on the injury?

3. BREATHE! the worst thing you can do when injured is start hyperventilating, you could pass out. take deep breaths and keep a cool head.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

Angry/Swear a lot.

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

Curl up into a corner and cry over it.

Clench my fists and quietly go "Gaaaaaaaaaah..."

[As of October 2012]
2013 ADFA Officer Cadet of the RAAF (Aerospace Engineer Electronics Officer).

It always depends on the type of injury:

Burns suck, and can be hard to ignore.

Cuts / bruises in inconvenient places also suck, but you just make sure you don't aggravate / infect the wound, and get over it.

Bruises / cuts elsewhere though, I generally don't feel - I was at work earlier this week and noticed that I had decent sized bruise on the side of my elbow - it's only just faded away, and I think I got that from getting out of bed (I have a bunk bed with cupboards underneath; getting out requires holding myself up with my right hand and left elbow).

Likewise, whilst playing paintball (favourite sport), it generally takes a few hits to realise I've been shot - if I get shot, I always check for paint before deciding whether I'm 'dead' or not - I've been accused of cheating before, when a guy popped out from the side and hit me several times - I continued firing back and got him out too, but not before I was marked ~7 times.

But goddamn, getting a lamp smashed against your hand, that hurts like -blam!-. I still have a scar from when I was young...

How did that happen?
IIRC, I was holding onto the lamp, bouncing on the bed and maybe stumbled.

I take it like a man. Pain is weakness leaving the body

Unless its a bad stomach ache. Then I just crawl into the fetile position and hope it goes away. Crying softly.

Stubbing your toe against some really hard corners while enthusiastically walking around the house can be unbelievably painful sometimes.

Who cares if I lie?

I get over it.

I know the difference between good pain (DOMS) and bad pain (a sprain or muscle injury). If it's the former I keep going, if it's the latter I stop.
