You can be neutral. Neutral means you don't have to pick sides in an argument. Also knows as Independent.
I grew up in a country with work labor laws. That means a business could not legally hire me because I was too young. However, age isn't the only reason your application can be rejected.
Here are some reasons why a manager won't hire someone or contact them for an interview.
1. Your hand writing could not be read. You know you wrote down the correct phone number and email address but the manager couldn't read it. Maybe your writing was too small or the sevens looked like 1's.
I believe most job applications are on computers but eventually you will have to sign your name to get hired.
2. When you were asked, why do you want to work here, your reply was, "I heard the pay was good." Your answer tells them that you are just in it for the money.
Avoid answering with anything that makes it sound like you just want money. Or need it.
