Why are people making such a big deal out of this? By the rings even the flood is being stupid about it.

You see one Massacre on the news..What about the other thousands of deaths that happen every day?

Lets talk about how the news doesn't talk about guns saving lives..Or Video games cutting down murder rates. Because its "Uninteresting".

Edit: And for the record, yes Its an awful thing but sheesh, calm down.

I'm just going to say this once for you -blam!-en retards...it was kids...6 year olds that haven't lived life...so we shouldn't care that an idiot killed 20 kids?

I say care, but the way people are responding is completely IRRATIONAL.

Uh...

I'm sort of confused. Was this in the US, or in Australia? (There's a Newtown in Sydney's inner west, about 5 minutes from Central station. It has a huge sign saying "Say no to Burqas." I also go there for meditation every so often.)

OP, its not about how big of a commotion it is. Its about how serious it is. Its not every day in a controlled civilized society that a man goes berserk and goes shooting up a school full of children.

how the hell is it irrational to -blam!-en lose it when you hear that 20 kids were killed by a foreveralone two weeks before x-mes?

Guns only kill things. Literally, that's their entire function.

I don't care for it.

So you're saying if I lost it and beat up some gamestop employee for selling "M" rated games to people in some vengeance quest for Newtown it wouldn't be irrational?

Idiots are blaming games, and Guns..When its clearly the Parents and the person himself to blame.

I eat my milk...

...without any milk.

I haven't seen much of the Newtown stuff anymore. It's mostly just the whole gun control debate.

Conspiracies are starting to plaque my mind.

I agree, but if safe is how the people will feel with these changes then let it be. If it happens it happens and theres nothing we can really do about it because the mass majority will outrule what the other 49% feel is unnecessary.

The articles I've read have actually had countless people saying that the mother and father were very soft spoken, gentle people. During their divorce, both worked cooperatively to make sure the shooter would be taken care of as well as possible, even into adulthood and beyond.

I don't think it was the parenting.
