Subject: Halo Universe versus Necrons (Warhammer 40k)

Necrons destroy UNSC and Covenant effortlessly.

Forerunners don't really stand a chance.

Flood tries to infect Necrons - Lol.

Activates Halo array.

Next thread.
Considering Necrons are soulless automatons whose only objective is to purge the universe of life...

...fat chance of that working, pal.
Halo rings are soulless.

They're machines.

They're meant to purge all life.

Therefore, Halo Rings = Necrons.

The Forerunner military is composed just as much of AIs as it is biologicals. I also don't think mind -blam!- would work on Precursors, since they're beyond sentience.

System shutdown would work on many of the factions, but the Forerunners' battlesuits could do that to entire warships.

Necrons have shown the ability to hack into and subvert enemy technologies with ease. As for defences, some higher level Necron ships have survived multiple planet destroying weapons. Plus, there is the Celestial Orrey.

Necron spaceships has attacks like Sepulchre (The Sepulchre is a weapon used by the Necrons that is normally outfitted on the largest of their vessels. When activated, it generates a wave of palpable psychic force towards any enemy starship. The crew of the afflicted vessel begin to suffer from visions of horror that leads them to rampaging out of control) Energy Drain (Energy Drain is a weapon used by Necron starships. Only utilized by Cairn Class Tomb Ships, it drains the targeted ship of all of its energy and power, rendering it helpless in space)

Now imagine hunderds of those ships in space all spamming Sepulchre and Energy Drain.

I imagine them spamming them in helplessness as a single Dreadnought wipes out their solar system from light years away.

Necrons have instant FTL travel.

Proof?

And if so, they'll have to keep running and running until they can't run anymore, and will then be destroyed.

If the Necrons goes to one of the solar systems of the Forerunners, I am 99% positive that they wont blow it up.

Forerunners killed themselves to stop the Flood. Of course they would sacrifice a single system to kill the Necrons.

Of course this is all silly. Forerunners just edit the Halo array to wipe out the Necrons, easy win. Or they can throw suns at Necrons. or send them to another dimension. Or hide in another dimension while the Halo array and Dreadnoughts do their work.

Not to mention a single Warrior can control a million ships himself.

So have the forerunners, a combination of 4 small cruisers used point defense systems to destroy a halo ring, outright blast through it's shielding and alloys- i believe someone calced that to be in the low petaton range for damage. On a cruiser, forerunners boast 100km ships filled with tons of those cruisers.

No he can't. A Promethean, or a Contender Ancilla could, but not a single warrior. A single warrior could blow enough up to see the effect from orbit in a battlesuit, but he could not control a million ships.

Though for further reading, I provide this

I post it a lot, but it does make listing their abilities easier.

Thank you, sir.

In that case, I correct myself and switch to what he said. Which is still millions of ships.

Nightbringer can be destroyed physically, just not his soul. He exists as shards which while individually powerful, won't be enough to stop an army of Forerunners.

Aren't all of the C'tan in shards?

Forerunners alone outnumber the Necrons. They move FTL, collapse systems, tilt galaxies, travel through dimensions, and have single beings controlling a million ships. They have a galaxy-wrecking weapon that can be edited to destroy what they please.

With the UNSC, Precursors, Covenant, and Flood at their back, Forerunners win this. Check the link Roberto posted. He actually has provided proof.

I never got where people think this. On a detail level, yes, we know nothing. But on a base level, we do know they were transgalactic, immortal, transsentient, built indestructable technology using reality itself as a material, and made the Forerunners feel like cavemen.

That's enough to act as a trump card.

But we don't know anything of their weaponry, what they used for battle. They had seemingly indestructible stuff, and that's about it.
