Subject: Next Elder Scrolls Location?

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

I've been loving Skyrim, I enjoyed it a lot more than Oblivion but I feel like another place to visit already, I feel like going back to either Morrowind or Hammerfell next.

What about you guys?

Mainland Morrowind would be cool. Either that, or Summerset.

I'd love an Elsweyr/Valenwood setting, since they're each smaller than cyrodil or skyrim, and are right on the thalmor/imperial border.

Though summerset would be really intersesting too, a lot of magical stuff there.

I be trippin'.

I would definitely want Hammerfell or Summerset Isle. Hammerfell would be a logical choice because they are currently an independent nation holding out against the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire.

Summerset Isle would be fun just because the tropical climate would be a change, but you'd be in Thalmor territory and High Elves are even more xenophobic than Nords.

I've played 3 to 5 so anywhere that wasn't the main location in those games.

The first game had the entire continent of Tamriel available, and the second game covered Hammerfell.

I thought the second game was parts of Hammerfell and mostly High Rock?

I wasn't sure where Arena was set but I'd always thought Daggerfall was in High Rock not Hammerfell.

Technically it was both. I haven't played it in years and for some reason thought it was primarily in Hammerfell, but I just double-checked and the playable region appears split approximately 50/50 in both, covering the coastal regions and the bay.

Daggerfall map.
Tamriel map.

Dagger fall was in the Breton homeland, not sure what it's called but it definitely isn't Hammerfell.

Seeing that makes me want them to do the whole of Tamriel for the next game...

I'd settle for somewhere new though :)

If they released ESVI on nextgen consoles then all of Tamriel is a legitimate possibility. But I would much rather have one detailed Skyrim sized map than a map twice as big as Skyrim but pretending to be all of Tamriel.

Yea, but it would take ages to develop the entire continent at the level of detail that they've been putting into the last three games. There would be thousands of hours of content... millions of people would quit their jobs, and society would implode.

Somewhere other than Skyrim or Cyrodil because thise are the one's I've played. I don't want it in High Rock because it's too similar to Skyrim. If in Hammerfell, then I want it to be based when the Orcs have their land tken by the redguards. That'd be a great story. Anywhere else is cool.
