No, because boycotting is a sad. It's what losers do

I just don't buy stuff I don't like/don't benefit from.

There are some companies I avoid, but I can't really call it a "boycott". My goal isn't to force them to change their ways. It's just for me to avoid giving money to organizations whose value directly contradict my own.

I find that Teh-Ziod is NOT attractive for the reasons
she/he does not correct format sentences, therefore for intelligent matured members of society that may interact with her/him, may find her/him UNattractive for the reason that she/he does not comprehend with their level to successfully have a conversation therefore it will be socially an awkward interaction which may be wanted to be avoided

second i do not find it physically possible for a PERSON to be a ice cream truck.

Facebook and Google for the most part. The only Google service I'll use is Youtube. Even then, I have Noscript and RequestPolicy blocking all the Google stuff in the background.
Facebook I understand. But why Google?
Do you not remember my massive thread a while back? Google tracks you in every search you make and their browser sends back your info on what you do on it to Google. Posted by: TwistedDippy666

What search engine do you use then? Bing?
DuckDuckGo.

No, not really. I no longer do trade-ins with GameStop (or any other gaming store), because I think my games are worth more than the spare change I'll get for them, but I'll still buy games there, sometimes.
I don't go to GameStop for a different reason.

Every GS I've been to [probably a dozen in the LA/OC area] all practice this with new games:

You take the empty game case to the counter, and they pull the disc out of the drawer. Industry standard says that a cd/dvd/game/software that has a broken seal is automatically "used". They're essentially selling you a used game for the new price.

TRU7H. CARNAGE. BUNGIE

Well, you could say I boycott apple.. The legal war is ridiculous.

The point is that it's not just me doing it. Businesses care about maximizing their income. When I, and multitudes of other people, decide that a company is no longer worth doing business with, that company will notice.

GOAT

My mom doesn't like to shop at PetCo because of their donations and ties to PETA, but I don't have any I boycott.

No Gamestop where I live does that. They give you the game in a wrapped case.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Pretty much this.

I avoid Chick-Fil-A.

I'm not for sure why you would boycott Chick-fil-A?

I think it is due to the owner's stance on same sex marriage, but didn't he stop using money from CFA to support anti-same sex groups a while back? I could have sworn I read an article on here once about it.

Correct. He said he would no longer donate to the organizations people were upset about.

Yes, they did actually stop funding anti-same sex groups. But what I'm not understanding is this. All Chick-fil-A's are individually owned, except for Dwarf houses, and all you are doing by boycotting Chick-fil-A is hurting the people running their own business, not the actual corporation.

While Chick-Fil-A are franchised, the corporation itself draws all its revenue from its franchises. They collect 10% of gross (not net) receipts and all the various fees of operation.

While the franchisee is most directly impacted, their actions also directly affected the corporation's bottom line, hence the change.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

Acer. Had some really, really bad experiences with them in the past, so I refuse to use any of their products.

I always warn friends and family away from buying their products as well, which usually works.

  • 12.18.2012 12:19 PM PDT

No but I avoid Walmart when I can help it. Even if it means paying a little extra for the product.

Hp for me so many problems and bad experiences with that company i would never recommend one of there computers.

Stop arguing over imaginary -blam!-. May as well argue over Santa Claus. There will never be proof that there is/was a god - and before people start saying "HERP DERP PROVE THERE WASN'T ONE ROFLOLOL" well, you are the people who made it up in the first place so we know there isn't one
What created the big bang then? A coalition of genetically modified TR-909s with extra distortion?

Offer the better customer service, quality control, and superior worth to me. That truly is all I care about.

And with that said, I refuse to do business with Newegg.
