PS3 and the Xbox 360 are both gaming consoles. Therefore, we compare them on their games and nothing else. Not their security measures, not their online service, not their controllers. But on the their gamesLol. That's quite convenient.
"Hey guys! I made this really sweet car that drives better than any other car on the market! But it has no locks on the door, anybody can start it up without the key, it has no air conditioning, no air bags, no seats, and no windows, BUT IT DRIVES BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHER CARS AND THATS WHAT CARS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO!"
Lol no.The reason we shouldn't be comparing the online services is because that's how we figured what were good consoles on the market. Sega Dreamcast was good not because of the internet but because of their games, Sonic. Same can be said for N64.
Back when gaming was about games.I would have absolutely no problem if you made another thread saying "The PS3 has better games than the Xbox 360". The problem I have is that you are saying "The PS3 is a better console than the Xbox 360 because it has better games and you aren't allowed to factor in anything else."
The need to dictate the terms of engagement in a way that proves your conclusion seems rather silly, especially since "The PS3 has better games than the Xbox 360" is definitely a reasonable conversation that could be had without having to implement a rule system for people replying.
Do you see?Why add in other factors? I thought the point of these things were to play games? And the other in my opinion has better games.
