Subject: Do you have the stomach for thrill rides?

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

OP needs to take a trip to Cedar Point.
Someone recommended Cedar Point to me just earlier today! Whereabouts is it?

Northern Ohio. It's the best place I've been to for rollercoasters.

If you love roller coasters it IS the best place. It has more coasters than any other park I believe, and a lot of them have broken records at one point for height, speed, incline of the drop, etc.
Just talked to my boyfriend and apparently it's a little out of the way for us, but we could fit it into a future trip we're planning some time next year. We're going up as far as TN this Christmas, but that's already a day away for us, so we can't really tack a trip to Ohio onto the end of this one.

Oh boy. Just got back from Six Flags.

All I can say is: the Titan is not for the faint of heart.

Do you enjoy thrill rides, and theme parks in general?
No.

  • 12.18.2012 7:07 PM PDT

Yeah. When I gained a lot of weight my heart wasn't in good enough shape but now that I've slimmed down again, I am fine.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

You're lame, OP.

I'm an Indonesian Halo (and other games) gamer!
Bhineka Tunggal Ika!!

Went to a roller coaster ride back in Japan.

Kinda surprised me that I could keep my poker face through out the ride

The best roller coaster you will ever ride is sitting in the back seat of a T-38 training fighter jet. There is no track, just the imagination of the pilot.

I'm a pilot and have been on most roller coasters in the Southern U.S. and even that made me feel a little nauseous.

I love roller coasters, no issues at all. But I get motion sickness like crazy when flying.

When we went on The Titan, I made a point of not screaming at all for the first drop, which they say is the tallest in the state.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

So much fun. My favorite would have to be Hershey Prk's Farenheight.

Shockwave was probably one of the longest at this park, but my favourite was The New Texas Giant. It wasn't the biggest, but it was really, really fast, and the first drop honestly felt steeper than The Titan's, even though it wasn't as high.

I love roller coasters, but can't stomach rides that just spin in one place or drop strait up and down, the make my stomach hurt. It's been a few years since I last rode on a roller coaster, I think it was right before Astro World closed down, which was in late 2005 if I remember correctly.

I won't go on dungeon drops, they're more dangerous than coasters and I don't see how they're any fun at all. A girl died on one in the old Six Flags in Houston a few years before it was closed down. Her hair got caught in the machinery at the top of the ride, and she couldn't get it out in time. :/

oh man, that's bad. I hate drops too. Normal thrill rides I love though. Used to be scared to death of them, but after being 'forced' to go on some, I've liked them.

I remember hearing about that. The rides that drop down freak me out, I've never liked them.

There's a ride down here in Kings Dominion which you black out every time you go on it, freaking sweet.

I went to Astroworld every day for an entire summer. Even though I've been on bigger coasters since then, serial thriller is my favorite.

Today was my first time on one of those boat rides - you know those big pendulum things that swing from side to side, gradually taking you higher and higher? This one eventually did a full loop, suspending us upside-down for a good five or ten seconds. It was utterly terrifying, but I would definitely do it again. Before that, all the thrill rides I'd been on had been coasters or log flume rides.

Screaming is part of the fun. When they take your picture and you go check it out after the ride. I always make a point to make an awesome face.

We got our photo from the New Texas Giant. I was doing a peace sign and grinning like a lunatic, and Harlow was saluting. We both knew it was coming because we were riding it for the second time, so we made sure to make it a good one.
