Subject: Do you have the stomach for thrill rides?

Name's Pixel.
There's a 87.7% chance that I'm better than you.
At everything.
Also.
Please message me if you have any objections.

I live in San Antonio, Texas, assuming that's the 6 Flags you're going to, and damn. I haven't been there in forever, great park though. It's built in a huge canyon, lots of rides and a huge park in general.

Don't litter, or God will rip your face off and feed it to a goat.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

We wanted to, but they were closed on the days we could have gone. :( We went to the one in Dallas instead.

I love roller coasters, but can't stomach rides that just spin in one place or drop strait up and down, the make my stomach hurt. It's been a few years since I last rode on a roller coaster, I think it was right before Astro World closed down, which was in late 2005 if I remember correctly.
I won't go on dungeon drops, they're more dangerous than coasters and I don't see how they're any fun at all. A girl died on one in the old Six Flags in Houston a few years before it was closed down. Her hair got caught in the machinery at the top of the ride, and she couldn't get it out in time. :/

Jesus christ...

oh man, that's bad. I hate drops too. Normal thrill rides I love though. Used to be scared to death of them, but after being 'forced' to go on some, I've liked them.
Today was my first time on one of those boat rides - you know those big pendulum things that swing from side to side, gradually taking you higher and higher? This one eventually did a full loop, suspending us upside-down for a good five or ten seconds. It was utterly terrifying, but I would definitely do it again. Before that, all the thrill rides I'd been on had been coasters or log flume rides.

There's one of those at the Orange County fair that spins you around as you do that.. it gives me such a bad headache. I can't stand them when they suspend you at the top for too long.

I should really change my signature some time.

Hmmm... nah.

Not at all; two of my biggest fears are heights and high speeds, so I hate thrill rides.

I have motion sickness as well and I'm terribly scared of heights...so no, I don't enjoy thrill rides or amusement parks.

*sigh*

I was so scared of heights as a small child, but I made myself climb ladders and do other things like that until I could tolerate them. Now I kind of like them.

See, I thought I'd feel that way, but The Titan was at least as terrifying as The Incredible Hulk. The Hulk's rapid acceleration at the beginning was scary as hell, but The Titan's initial drop is incredibly steep, and it doesn't have all the braces and whatnot that The Hulk has, so it definitely feels less secure and a lot scarier.

I can climb ladders fine. It's like anything above 10 feet that I have a problem with.

You should ride this one

wtf, that's messed up, why the hell would someone invent a roller coaster meant to kill you...

  • 12.18.2012 8:40 PM PDT

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

I can stomach anything, I love crazy rollercoasters.

Absolutely not. Can't stand them.

I was basically forced to ride my first roller coaster by my uncles. I still get nervous/anxious standing in line and climbing the hill but I know it's going to be fun in the end.

Dat aversion therapy?

Get right up to the top of a huge coaster, feel the wind trying to strip your skin right off your face, and when you survive all the way through to the end, maybe you'll realise that heights aren't so bad. Seems to work for some people.

If you consider wanting to piss yourself and throw up, fun...

then sure.

But it's one of the best things about coasters! While I was on the Shockwave, I opened my mouth to speak and my face basically got frozen into this huge grin for the rest of the ride. It was insane and awesome.

All the piss and puke would hit the people behind you and they'd freak out. Yes I would consider that aa ton of fun.

I can tolerate average/smaller rollercoasters like the Corkscrew in Valley Fair (MN).

I used to fear roller coasters, then i rode the Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion, VA.
Now, I love thrill rides.
