absolutely not
let me point out some numbers...
According to CDC and FBI, every year 443,000 Americans died from smoking, 49,400 died from second hand smoking, 75,000 died from drinking, 12,000 from DUI
while only 300 people died from "assault weapons( basically rifles)"

People, especially Europeans, love saying "nuts get guns at Walmart in your country" referring to AR15's. Getting gun downed by an AR15 is the last thing I worry about. Worst argument ever. So if there are more deaths from other causes you won't acknowledge the danger coming from such loose gun laws?
Of course I am. You're going to argue against the 2nd Amendment and infringe upon innocent people's rights just because a few nuts shot some people this year? I don't think you'd be so condescending about this if you were one of the victims or a victim's relative. Just look at how many school shootings you had.
Do you really love guns that much to put that many lives in danger? Is it really your only thought in life? Because I don't see how your whim to bear arms is worth even one human life.
Well then you truly don't understand, and it's fine. Living in a semi-free society always has repercussions. Also that many? I just showed you the statistics. Do you really love alcohol that much that we don't make it illegal? I'd rather live free with consequences than move to a police state. It's not about guns.
This country runs on sensationalism. 9/11 - we start two wars and patriot act. Look what that got us. I'm not saying lets not have a discussion. The gun show loophole obviously needs to be closed. But punishing innocent people is not what we were based on.
