.... Flaws and morals as humankind? Or will we be the evil and immoral ones?

I been thinking and wondered if another sentience species would have the same flaws such as greed or would they have overcome that obstacle while we haven't? And therefore making us the evil species full of greed and other flaws?

I think it could vary. There could be a chance another species had manage to achieve peace from the beginning of its history due to certain factors like Ashoka's species in Star Wars or maybe become really greedy and war mongaring like the Orcs in Lord of the Rings.

What are your opinions?

Who cares if I lie?

If they evolved on another planet millions of light years apart from us, I don't think it's very likely that we would be very similar.

I'm not really an Apple person (Bananas forever) but damn, that's kinda sad.

There's no reason to suppose they'll be any different, as they would have the same basic needs and desires.

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle- victorious"

Well there are a few rotten apples in every bunch. So if there was another sentient species, they would have similar problems to us.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

They would know what materials or substances gave them a sense of happiness, so they would want them as well.

As long as they're self-aware, yes.

However a civilisation that can travel between planets possibly light years away with no repercussions would probably be able to stow these feelings of greed and hatred and evil away pretty easily.

Mreh.

depends on the psychology of their species.

Is it a species that evolved in an environment that encouraged the benefit of an individual or the group?

That is the question.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

There are thousands of sentient species right here on this planet, and nearly all of them lack any system of morals or ethics entirely.

So the answer to your question is, yes, other sentient species are nearly certain to have what you call "flaws" and what everyone else calls "nature."

What suggest that another sentient species would even have a form of happiness?

You assume too much.
