"Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

It seems as though some people have forgotten we do have something pointing (potentially) to the 21st, the geomancy symbols / codes / whateveryouwanttocallthem.

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

Next year we will see light.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

It's going to be the future soon.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Something to consider:

"According to the Mayans, they don't explain what exactly is gonna happen on 21/12/2012, what they knew is about a galactic dark rift that would connect our world with the "other world" and a God would come back to re-visit his temple."

I doubt it. There won't be any 'till next year.

Next year?

That sounds oh so far away!

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

I could see them releasing Bungie.next shortly before the reveal, to build anticipation. I'm not counting on it though.

Would they do that? They seem to be changing some of the inner working of the site, so I would think that they would ease it in to avoid problems. Releasing it along side of a Destiny reveal would immediately test the new site, which could cause many glitches or a failure.

As for secrets, Bungie could just update the background or skin of the website. I just don't think they would launch a new website system and then immediately stress it.

I could see Bungie.next going live right after the trailer also.

If they released Bungie.next early it might give away some surprises.

Where do people even come up with this -blam!-?

That was from the Flood copy-and-pasted from some news article about the Mayan predictions.

I always thought dates like this are interesting for new info because Bungie is very superstitious.

Yup, what this dude said, up until this point there's no schedule to my knowledge for a break news about Destiny, so we'll have to wait until 2013.

Findings from Mayan ancient writings, this is what people do when they research ancient civilizations.

If you've been in highschool, you would know it as Archaeology.

That alleged link is so dubious that it is not being given any credit. I mean, just read it again, its totally bogus, especially in the face of so much clearer evidence pointing directly to 2013.

There probably will not be a trailer tomorrow but it is fun to speculate I suppose.

Also soon it will be a month past since the big "Leak" to which Bungie replied "soon" without a TM.

but why would they release info on destiny right before their vacation?
I doubt they will, but Bungie may use the element of surprise.

To be fair, you only need probably 1 or 2 people to post a video to a website.

Exactly...how and why did the Mayans come up with that story?
