This a partial list of assault weapons on the 2007 Federal Assault Weapons ban.
I think we can agree that many, but not all, of the "assault weapons" listed would also classify as an "assault rifle".

WHAT?!It never passed, it has no legal holdings, but because of the detachable magazine and semi-automatic fire.
I know it was never passed, but why would they even ban a firearm with such history? The thing got our men through World War 2 and Korea.
