We, as a country, experienced a tragedy not too long ago. A man killed numerous innocent people, including children. Kids who "had their whole lives ahead of them" as Obama had said.
We cried because it was a tragedy, these innocent lives ending premature. 20 or so children lost their lives and we were baffled that someone would do such a vile deed. How, then, do we sit back and let 3,500 children be mercilessly murdered daily? Why do we overlook this evil? Would having a degree in murder justify the act? Our country seems to think so.
A man kills children with guns and it is a monstrosity. A man kills children with tools and we not only accept it, we elect an administration that supports it and taxes Americans to fund it. How do you think the parents in Newton feel?
They didn't get to choose whether or not to have their child murdered. What gives us the audacity to believe we can? You seemed very moved about this shooting Mr. President, coming close to tears while addressing it.
Do you also come near to tears when you willingly fund killing thousands of children who also "have their whole lives ahead of them"?
The only difference between the shooting and abortion is the tool which is used.
