Abortion, huh? Definitely isn't "murder" as you put it. Unless you also consider fapping murder and wet dreams involuntary manslaughter.

Since when did a sperm cell become a person? I was under the impression that a person becomes a person when the sperm and the egg cell combine, at the moment of conception.

BTW thats a really weak argument you've got there.

Children = People
Fetuses = Not people

How can anyone think like this. A fetus has the potential to be a person, it's also made out of the same DNA of a person. You're in denial.
Again, is sperm people? Are eggs people?

What really makes a person a person? Potential?

I don't think so. The thing isn't alive at certain stages, that is fact. And it certainly isn't human.

A fetus is infringing on the woman's right to her body, a kindergarteners isn't. Fundamental difference.

An abortion is infringing on the right all humans have: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's in our constitution.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

I nearly cried this week because one of my friends was expelled for having Marijuana in his backpack.

That's hilarious!
OT: Everyone should be upset if innocent children got slaughtered.

It's a grouping of cells that has no cognitive function whatsoever. Like it or not, until it develops it's comparable to microorganisms, which you kill everyday.

Nope. How can something without a brain or even functioning organs be a person? It's no more than a sack of cells for months.

That "sack of cells" is natural. It's a natural HUMAN cycle to be nothing more than a sack of cells at certain stages, thats a HUMAN characteristic, you can't deny that.

They're not considered to be people, politically speaking. We have birth certificates, not conception certificates.

If natural is the issue, why target abortion? Don't you have other things to argue how "natural" they are or aren't? Why are you on the Internet?

Obviously we aren't going to have conception certificates, it's not set in stone the baby will survive in the womb, there could be a miscarriage.

Are you seriously justifying abortion because of that reason?

It appears I've gotten through to you and won. Instead of admitting this, you've become desperate enough to question my motives.

Don't worry about my motives, thats not the issue at hand. Good day.

Under given circumstances, anything is potentially possible.

A certain microorganism could end up becoming a human. Now, is it likely? No, but it is possible.

If potential to become intelligent means something is a person, then killing just about anything could be murder.

I'm not trying to force my views on you, but I'm just stating my point. Unlike what some others appear to be doing.

I am a monument to all your sins

I respect that the one carrying the fetus should be able to abort it if she feels it is necessary, but I still don't like it. There is so much potential in those fetuses. Each person only has one chance to like a life, and to have it extinguished before it even starts is just tragic and unfair. For all you know you may have just aborted the man who would have cured HIV, or the next Albert Einstein. All life has the right to live, no matter how undeveloped they are. That said, the woman carrying the infant also has the right to her own body, and she was there first. While I may be fundamentally opposed to abortion, I still respect the right of a woman to have one.
