For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.
While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

That's just stupid. First of all, Kevlar is heavy. You're going to put that weight on a child's back? Secondly, it still doesn't stop rifle rounds, which is what everyone is freaking out about.
Why is everyone so stupid now?
Because they are American.
I'm going to blame the parents of this "PlayStation Generation."
They weren't raised properly because they grew up during the Vietnam Era, where everyone was either stoned, overseas fighting, or fighting each other back home. So, they don't know how to raise their children properly. It's like the blind leading the blind and the deaf directing the symphony. The end result is a generation of screw ups and idiots. Well when you send the smart ones off to war what do you expect?
America is the only country I know that sends people to college to get and education and then once they finish, send them off to fight.
That's a waste of money right there.
College itself is a waste of money here. It's basically just a few years of partying and BS'ing your war through exams. Since our military is made entirely of volunteers and we've got tons of college graduates with useless degrees, what do they do? Enlist, because we're at war so we'll take almost anyone that signs the paperwork.
