Major props to my hommie Sheeef. He made Recon possible for me. Long time recovering emails and passwords. And it was his. lol.

For those who use Instagram. There was a news posting on Facebook the other day about how Instagram is now/might have the rights to sell your pictures.

Not going to link it due to not sure if legit or even safe.
I'm not sure I like the idea of my pics being sold. lol

Thoughts?

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

Who would buy pictures of sluts.........oh....internet you're just sad now.

  • 12.19.2012 5:22 AM PDT

They don't.
That's illegal.

  • 12.19.2012 5:22 AM PDT

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

I don't use Instagram anyhow so I don't care. Also all they're going to sell is pictures of breakfast with filters on the photo.

That's illegal.

It might not be, if they had a user agreement when you installed Instagram saying that photos become their property, then it's possible.

Actually, as of Jan 15 I believe, they do. It's going to be in the new ToS. The only way to opt-out is to stop using it.

Really getting tired of how Facebook is conducting business. Just when I started using Instagram too. What a shame.

If you're a zombie and you know it, bite your friends.

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

A friend of mine posted this on facebook.

"Quick! Instagram is selling all your precious images of overly filtered : food, feet on the beach, trick boobs, the alcohol you are consuming and cats!!!
Such import things!, I bet they will make millions..."

Most people are aware of this and many, myself included, don't care. Facebook's convenience is worth it. I'm not doing anything illegal so if the government is dying to know how much I love Spotify and who I'm dating then they're more than welcome to know.

It's not like the government doesn't already have a thousand ways of knowing everything about you already. Have a cellphone? Well they're tracking you.

I'm not saying they aren't. The surveillance state is bull-blam!- though.

I'll be concerned when they directly take my rights away, not that I have all of them already seeing as how I'm not even allowed to get married.

But for now the way I see it is that as an individual I am powerless to object and see no reason to. I'm comfortable with my place in society even if I don't have much control over it. I'm sure that's music to their ears, but frankly I don't care.

I thought this was going to be a rant on people who use the AR in Halo. I leave this thread disappointed.

Well if someone bothers to read the Terms Of Service it we would know for sure now wouldn't we?

It won't happen if you don't agree to it. If they have the rights to do it, then they have mentioned it in the Terms of Service, if not they can not do that.

Also, people can just delete them.

I hardly think it was just Reddit that contributed to it. Pretty much every major publication in the United States wrote about how it was a damaging decision and should be reversed due to professionals who rely on the program, not to mention some heavy users who boycotted because of the announcement.

Regardless, it's very nice to see a company responding to complaints, even if they do try to absolve responsibility in the process.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

I'll just leave this here.

I agree. I use it sometimes. However, I have been doing photography for 7 years. Just a fun app when i don't want to carry my cameras.
