I'm not denying they are useful, they just ruin the game imo. I prefer Tekkit for that reason, where there are intentional features that allow massive manufacturing of items rather than use of exploitation.
I find that kind of funny since it is far easier to abuse tekkit than it is vanilla Minecraft. As for exploitation a lot of exploits in vanilla that use to be there are gone. Mojang has tried their best to stop farming in so many ways it isn't even funny. The only over-exploitable feature in Tekkit is Equivalent Exchange. Everything else is pretty balanced as far as I can tell. Also Jeb nerfed farms altogether in an update and then reverted it. They no longer seem to care if people do it because it's just how some people play. Which I respect. I just don't like it.

Which is why it's both a plus and a minus that they're taking the condenser out of Equivalent Exchange 3. It's a plus because it was extremely powerful and easily exploited. It's a minus because I loved the hell out of the Energy Condenser.Heard about that. I used it too. It was great for quarries. Pumping in all that useless cobble, dirt, sand, etc. Or just throwing in some extra Nikolite to make diamonds. It was beautiful. But they'll likely keep the Transmutation Tablet, which is essentially the same thing just not automatic. Which I can live with.
Using a recycler can pretty much do the trick as an alternative, seeing as how UU-Matter can make just about anything useful in the game.
