Subject: Should I get Dishonoured?

This seems to be happening a lot lately. For some reason I tend to not pay attention to games which are hyped or praised a lot. I have not a clue why, but I have missed out on a few decent games this year. Namely, Dishonoured. Should I get it? Do not try to hard on a massive review, just focus on gameplay, story, music et cetera.

It is amazing and you should most definitely get it.

It's a solid game, I just felt it was lacking something. I haven't really looked into it that deeply myself to figure out what it was missing, I might do, but it did feel like it was missing something.

So, you want to hear a story eh? One about treasure hunters? Have I got a story for you!

No, rent it, beat it. You will only play through the game once.

Does it sell for much these days?

@Rami730

What if he wants to play through it once in high chaos and once in low chaos?

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

I agree with this. I enjoyed it for about a month and then started losing interest. The game starts to get slightly repetitive, depending on what skill sets you try to develop. The thing is though, I feel that you're able to max out certain skill sets too easily and you can just rely on them to do everything for you in a rinse, wash, repeat format.

Personally, I prefer Hitman: Absolution over Dishonored, even though Dishonored probably deserves at least an honorable mention for GOTY.
