If I were one to download it illegally, my entire library would be full of illegally downloaded songs.

I'd much rather buy the physical CDs, but that's normally incredibly inconvenient

I download them because I don't think I have once had a album that I liked every single song in it equally as much and with iTunes I can pick which ones I like and save money.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Bait and switch!

Seriously though, download.

Just go to a shop and buy them. or order them off a website. How is that inconvenient?

Digital all day. I have so many devices that I play music on that it's impossible to keep my CDs with me all the time.

Don't punch a British kid, the queen'll come after you.

I try to buy physical copies of everything I like. I'm currently building up my own vinyl record collection, in fact I just ordered a 10" single yesterday to play on my new set up at christmas.

It's more the dealing with having physical objects. It's also a time issue. I'm most interested in the music immediately and sometimes I can't get it in store so I'd have to order it online.

CDs can still easily satisfy that but ok

I have about 30 vinyl records and 150 CDs. Does that answer your question?

it's so much easier to just have my 400+ albums on my phone rather than hauling 400+ cd's with me everywhere.

I know it's not really logical, I'm starting to purchase CDs more now though.

-I was here

depends. If I like the song, I'll download it. If I like the album/band, then I'll go buy a CD.

If you're going places often then that's fair enough. If you've got a designated home place then I like having a physical music collection.

I much prefer CDs. I like having the CD with the artwork and stuff on it and the case. I prefer buying something I can physically see and touch(a CD) over a license to listen to and download a song/album. I also like having an original copy of the CD because the paranoid side of me doesn't have to worry about getting screwed over by some stupid ToS that always comes with downloading stuff.

My DeviantArt Gallery - For my Photoshop stuff, go have a look!

I'd love to have a big CD collection, but it's a lot cheaper and easier to buy online now.

#rubberdingirapids

I buy albums from my fave bands via CD. Usually cheaper when shopping in HMV or in charity shops.

But i'd buy individual songs from itunes.
