Subject: Do you illegally download music?

Alt account #4 because i can!

i mean, i understand why people prefer to ave digital because of the sheer size of some CD collections, but why not do what i do and put it on your computer and then your music device of choice? i just find it nice to have things that i like. and its nice to have a back up in case i lose the digital file.

I get CDs when I can, after a few listens by other means of course.

I'll download an album if I'm just checking a band out. If I like them, I'll buy an actual copy. If not, delete it. The only music I do download are albums that are impossible to find/ not worth buying from a private collector.

-blam!- paying $200 for an EP album that was $2 back in 93'.

For example -blam!-'s expensive

There's a “U” and “I” in union but just an “I” in my beliefs

Physical, but most of the albums I like aren't even sold around here.

Wizzy

I prefer CDs because:

- Quite often cheaper
- Better sound quality
- Physical item, so you feel like you actually got something with your money
- Can't get lost to computer or hard drive breakdowns.
- The artwork, lyrics and stuff in the booklet.

I agree that all presidents should serve 2 terms. 1 in office and 1 in prison

I download, but if I want something physical I buy Vinyls. They are timeless and I feel like if I throw one on, I get more into the music instead of it being background noise.

'Tis what the maiden hath proclaimed!

I prefer to own CDs. I think that with good artists, the CD booklet is just as much a part of the band's artistry as the songs themselves, so I value having that physical aspect to see and touch. Of course, if I'm only interested in a single song from an album, then I'm just going to download it.

I'll listen to the album on Spotify. If I like it, I'll either buy it off iTunes or get the CD. If I REALLY like it I go buy the vinyl.
