Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.
"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"
My problems with it:
Both:
-Sprint should have been default.
-Focus Rifle: That is one of the most useless weapons I used in a video game. The only thing it was really designed to do was lower shield. The only time it's useful is when you have infinite ammo in Firefight.
-Plasma Repeater: It's just about as useless as the Focus Rifle. There was no point of having it when the Plasma Rifle is pretty much the same thing, but more powerful.

Campaign:
-The AI was completely useless. They couldn't drive or kill. If I let the AI drive I'm dead. If I let them gun I'm dead. Jun has this thing called a sniper rifle which is used at long distances. But he uses it at shotgun range.
-I know the games override the books. But I do not like how the game took a giant -blam!- on the Fall of Reach novel. It's sad they had to rewrite the novel and you have to read Halsey's journal for Reach to make sense.
-I hated the story. You had no clear objective at all until you retrieved Cortana near the end of the game. And that's when the game actually gets a plot to it. The only thing you were doing was being Colonel Hollands term for a female dog.

Firefight:
It went form a survival/see how long you can go. To a point whoring fest. The majority of the maps are not made for holding up a location. They are made for running around and seeing how many points you can get.

Multiplayer:
-The vehicles are made out of something weak, like paper mache...or Raditz...
-Sword block: It's one of the dumbest game mechanics I seen in a game. The Energy Sword is a one hit kill anywhere on the body, but as soon as someone puts their arm up. It magically stops it from killing them.
-The majority of the default multiplayer maps are campaign areas. I don't care that they were designed first and built into the campaign. It's incredible lazy and unoriginal.
-Bloom: It's just one big derp of a system. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a recoil effect that you can control. Like the SMG in Halo 3. If you fired it it traveled up your screen(I believe that's how the DMR was in the beta.) or like the FAL in Black OPS. It's pretty accurate when you paced it, but when you spammed it. The weapon moved all over your screen. Any of those 2 things allows the player to control it and to know where the bullets are ending up, but bloom is completely random. Instead of reducing spam it increased it.
-I like the idea of armor abilities, but Bungie screwed them up:
*Sprint should have been default.
*Armor Lock was one of the worst things you can add to a game.
*The drop shield should have worked like this. It would basically act like AL, but you would deploy the shield instead. Which means you can't move while it's activated.
-The DLC was not wroth buying at all. Anybody that bought them got screwed. They removed the DLC playlist which was the only real way to play on the map pack maps. Having a DLC map come up in the non-DLCplaylist is next to impossible. They should have done what they did with Halo 3. Which was have playlist that required the DLC.
