Master Chief Rules!!!

Of course not even a week could pass and a senator is already blaming video games for violent teenagers.

But I question: people play games everywhere in the world, I am from Mexico.
Why only the US seems to get whackos killing dozens of people with guns. And children?? That's gross

Everybody in the world's tryin' to get out of Washington And we're the only smocks tryin' to get in!
-Independence day

Because violent movies don't affect anybody.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Games were being blamed within the hour of news breaking. It'll pass as always.

Uh... you're from Mexico. Your nation is infamous for cartel crime. Everyone can look up on the internet what cartels do in your country.

I just found it a tad ironic.

Since when?

Quote from Confucius

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Video games are viewed negatively in society for some reason.

Funny because video games and entertainment are a by-product of society.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

Oh dear, this hassle again.

It's the people that choose to kill, not the media.
People assume that they are somehow brainwashed or influenced by video games and movies when that's not the case.

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

I can defend it by saying that is expected from a cartel. Scare the people, control the people.

Violent people are also expected in any sample population. OP chooses America, ignoring the violence in his own country.

Has that senator ever read Catcher in the Rye, I hear that it got a good musician killed or something.

It's because the shooters have played way to many CoD. They think an AC-130 is going to perform a strafe run and drop care packages after they kill 7 people.

I don't ignore the violence in Mexico. It's probably worse than the US right now. But, it's drug cartels fighting each other, like guerrilla warfare. I can assure you we don't get cases of seemingly "normal" people killing dozens in a cinema or school.

What are you talking about? GTA inspired me to steal cars, go on a shooting rampage, and kill prostitutes.

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.
