Adapt. I constantly see people whining about games and original formulas changing. Games will change. People need to start realizing that. People whine all the time over it. Its not going to stop changing. Your precious Halo or Call of Duty or even Elder Scrolls games will not stay the same way and stick to the same formula forever. Its all about adaptation. You have to get used to it. Whining will not solve anything. Games are a huge market now constantly pulling in people who want and like very different things. Evolution and change is good....sometimes. Ok rant over.

But yeah guise adapt to new things.

We all wear masks and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing our own skin.

There is a difference between adapting and a game having broken mechanics.

No no no.
Our least favorite words are #SWAG and #YOLO.

Adapt is our most common used word in video game discussions.

Its entirely possible for the new things to be worse then the old.

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

I honestly don't see why people don't like change. If you like a game so much just keep playing that game, not expect the next to be exactly the same.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

I don't hate it, I welcome it. During the Halo: Reach complaint threads the word was incredibly abundant.

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Adapt is a cop out of an argument void of any intellectual backing. All you're saying is essentially, "I can't refute your arguments but just deal with the game as is."

Hence why I said change is good sometimes. Im having trouble adapting to Far Cry 3's no vehicle system but I just have to get over it and play, or go play Far Cry 2 for my multiplayer.

Two makes there more than speakers.

The way "adapt" was thrown around during Reach was a piss poor excuse for trying to justify unfair mechanics. This still applies to Halo 4.

"Developer, the old way was obviously superior, so why would you make this change. All it does is make the game play worse, can we please have the old way back?"

It's funny because wasn't Bungie the ones who came up with the term?

I could've sworn it was the webmaster who coined it then it spread like a wildfire across the Reach forum.
