God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3

Currently 40 off from 1,000 club.
255 Bench
335 Squat
370 dead lift
I am going for it again next tuesday.
I think I did to many deadlifts and squats in my warm up.
:\
Keep working for it! My school focused on Bench, Incline, Squat, and Cleans, so I made 1000 my sophomore year. 1200 club is a different story, however. As for warmups, last year my coach went dick mode and made us do squat jumps, a lot of them, right before we went in to max.
Nah what upset me was is that I was already in the 1k club in high school.
I just started working out again a week ago, and that is all i was able to do.
Before I quit working out my senior year ( 2007 )
I was 70 away from the 1,500 club.
I was benching 375 as a routine and my max was 405.
I was squating 440
Deadlifting 585.
I workout all natural, no pres, no creatine.
all I take is a multi and fish oil.
Damn, you sound raw as -blam!-. I was never a big kid on the football team (6'1") so my strength worked for me. We had a few players hit 365-375 bench but not much after that. At this point though I'm trying to get toned over lifting a lot, especially since I'm tired of looking flabby and because I leave for the Army in July.
Also, no creatine or -blam!- like that for me. Most I ever took was a mix of protein and vitamins to help my muscles recover after a hard day.
Best advice I can give for recovery is L-Glutamine and L Carantine.
They work wonders for muscle recovery and blood flow to the muscle groups that were under a great amount of stress.
