Incomprehensible gibberish.

>305 Bench
Unless your using a machine to help you, I find that hard to believe. Or your using anabolics and aren't natty.

  • 12.19.2012 5:11 PM PDT

I am assuming direct control.

Well, you can't really help it if that's how your lower body is. You're definitely putting up some impressive numbers. I'm benching 220. It's nothing to show off but with my 5'6 stature with 25 marathons under my belt I'm really proud of it.

What do you plan on doing in the Army? I'm in a Marine Corps officer program right now. From the sounds of it you won't really be suffering during basic.

I'm attending West Point and from there I plan on studying Computer Science and Electrical Engineering before going into Intelligence.

As I think I've said before (Have I?), I was a football player. Offensive Line, specifically, these numbers were actually considered low for the guys I played with (I started because of my speed). 305 is my max, and not my normal rep weight, and for my size, 6'1", and build, 305 is a manageable amount.

So, I've been working on tone exercises so I can have that beach body for the Summer.
I took you seriously until this point.

There's a difference in how strong you are, and how toned (Ripped, cut, etc.) you look. If you saw me, you'd think I was a big guy, because I am, but you wouldn't see massive pecs nor abs. Call it insecurity, but seeing how I've always been really overweight until recently, being cut is my ultimate goal. I don't just want to lift heavy weight, I want to look good for the first time in arguably my entire life.

I'm afraid to deadlift, I've had a recurring back injury a few times in the last 3 years. Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

  • 12.19.2012 5:25 PM PDT

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

- 6"3, 175 pounds. Bulking now, hoping to get to 190-200 before I cut. I started my bulk 7 months ago at 140 pounds.

- Barbell bench max 245. 185 for 12 reps.

- deadlift 275 for 3 sets of 5. I've never maxed out on deadlift, but I imagine I could probably do 6 plates (315). It's only been like 2 months since I learned how to deadlift too.

- my knees are shot from years of baseball (playing catcher), so my squat is awful.

This is after about 7 months of a dedicated lifestyle. Long way to go, but I'm on my way.

Camping like a 'mouth breather'
If Fed Ex and UPS merged into one company, would it be called Fed Up?

I don't want to start another account for a digital number that has no true value in ten years.

There was a guy like you in my weight lifting a few years back, he was huge offensive lineman, he can bench well over 500, I've seen it and it was ridiculous. I know he went to nationals in his last years of high school

Fact 2: European guys are hotter

I guess I can understand if you don't want to make out with guys in the US if they're so ugly, you should just say so though.

Fair, but there is no such thing as a toning exercise. If you wanna be ripped and cut, then you have to diet and do cardio. You can't shape muscles, only make them get bigger.

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

I workout all natural, no pres, no creatine.

...

When you grow up with a father who is a Marine, and working on farm bailing hay, you are naturally strong.

I will never forget this one month we had to load up 100lb bales by hand without a forklift.

FML that month. Worst summer ever.

Props and everything, but my point is, creatine is natural. You manufacture it in your body and consume it as part of a healthy diet. The only unnatural part of taking creatine is that you're deliberately consuming it as a supplement as opposed to getting it through regular food, which is no more unnatural than taking multivitamins or fish oil, two things you did list as "natural".

Bench: ~250
Squat: 315
Incline: 215
Clean: Dunno, I've only ever done power-cleans and I never go above 135 on those.

If you were my son, I'd be proud.
This. I'd take you out for a dinner at your favorite restaurant.

Quoted by a Mod. Call me a suck up, but I feel pretty damn awesome right now.

Bench - 115, 3 sets of 8.
Leg press - 260, 3 sets of 8-10
Power Squat - 135, 3 sets of 15
Inclined bench press (machine) - 115, 3 sets of 8-10

My shoulders are weak, only able to lift two 20lb free weights, 3 sets of 12-15. But I'm working on it. I'm cutting right now, as I was 188.8, but now down to 180.4. Cutting is tough. I need to do more cardio.

Edit: Oh, and I'm 5'8".
