Subject: Are you... Are you -blam!- kidding me?

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

You know, the problem for the shooting mostly came from a bad upbringing from the parents and terrible experience in school. So ban school and regulate assbag parents.

Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

Hey, hey parents - you know those letters/numbers in the corner of the game boxes? Yeah? WELL THEY HAVE A FREAKING MEANING!!!

THIS! So sick of parents not even paying attention to what their kids watch/play and then saying that the people who made the product are responsible for anything negative that can be even a little bit associated with the product.

It's the game company's fault. They really should be making less violent video games.

Do we really need games where we kill?

Funny how you're always against the flood's general opinion.

Actually half of my posts are "This" agreeing with people.

Sorry I just think video games are way to violent these days.

I'm 18 so I don't really care. I think it should be mandatory though for stores to request a parent if under 17 or 18 trying to buy an M rated game.
It is mandatory. I couldn't buy M games when I was 16

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Our responsibly as developers is to make games for our target audience. If our target audience is children, we go for a more age appropriate title. Basically developers aren't aiming for kids to buy violent games. Kids by violent games because they love it, even though the game is meant for ages 17 and above. Even the game itself can be rated T for teen and still be violent. So that article fails in a nut shell.

Lastly, it's not the industry's responsibly to protect the children. It's the parents responsibly to do that.

So why don't we talk about more important things like our space program?
