You just said kids, but teens aren't kids.

And no survey can just get a perfect representation of everyone.

And since when were teens the ones always getting in fights? They aren't the ones serving in wars.

Actually teens are kids it is just that most teens don't like to be called that since it is viewed in a negative fashion at that age.

I find them more as adolescents.

Legendary Rose, stahp making alts and just get the hell out of here.

BTW, you really need to look at the facts then just to rely on one article.

Violent crimes have been decreasing while the sales of video games have been increasing

Also according to the FBI in 2009,The arrest rate for juvenile murders has fallen 71.9% between 1995 and 2008. The arrest rate for all juvenile violent crimes has declined 49.3%. In this same period, video game sales have more than quadrupled. The FBI statistics show that video game sales have been on the rise, while all juvenile violent crimes have fallen in the same amount of time. Looking at today's debate, you have to see that Pro shows with this evidence that the claim that video games cause violence is not backed up by reasonable statistics. Therefore, the claim is false.

BOOM ROASTED!

You actually think there's a correlation between that and video games? You're an idiot. The variables from a decade alone makes your claim moronic. By your logic, the rise in sales of HDTVs is the cause of lower rates of violence.

*Facepalm*

I don't even know where to start with you. Did I say that the rising sales of video games are the cause of lower crime rates? You really are stupid. Re-read my post again.

With the evidence I proposed, it's saying that "if video games really do cause violence then crimes haven't been increasing with the rate video game sales have?

If you want more evidence I can provide you some more.

See OP? This is why no one on the Flood likes you

i wonder if they considered that naturally most teens will be more aggressive to begin with due to the testosterone due to puberty and that common factors can not be applied to everyone in most cases.

Considering 51% of the test subjects were girls, and that they found gender and sex to have no effect on results, i'd say that we can rule out testosterone.

One study, doesn't denote how much the increase is, etc, etc.

Even then, games in the US and abroad are clearly marked as per the age ranges, the only people who are at fault here are the parents buying the games for the children.

And? If there anything wrong with having video games as a passion? Over the years, we've seen games become a much bigger part of our culture. South Korea is living proof, as a lot of people over there embrace games such as SC2.

Games are no longer a niche market, they are very much a widely accepted medium. Only a vocal part of the minority is against it.

It contradicts my evidence how? If that's true then why aren't violent video game related crimes increasing?

The small correlations that have been found between video games and violence may be explained by violent youth being drawn to violent video games. Violent games do not cause youth to be violent. Instead, youth that are predisposed to be violent seek out violent entertainment such as video games.
