I actually just remembered one show I watched all the time when I was younger (in the '90s): The Crocodile Hunter.

Perhaps. But the guy was starting to sound like this.
Yep, during that one short and for the most part, accurate, sentence, he started to sound like he was having a sentimental, condescending rant.

Go home, kid.

Another one: When Rocko's Modern Life first came out in 1993, they're used to be reruns of it at 6 AM. SO I would wake up before 1st grade, go downstairs watch Rocko, sneak back upstairs, pretend to be sleeping, then "wake up" for school like normal.

I detest people who were born 94+ who call themselves 90 kids.
I was born in '94 and I don't consider myself a 90s kid. I was 6 by 2000, I've done majority of my growing up in the 2000s. I started primary school in 1999 (I think). I'm hardly a 90s kid. I hate the term "90s kid".

'96 and loving it.

Before you say "OMGURNOTA90SKID!!!!1", my family used to be pretty poor, so we didn't have the newest technology. For the longest time, I had a VCR, dial-up internet, cassette tapes, and a corded home phone. One thing I did miss out on, though, was the typical 90's cartoons that everyone seems to love.

Rugrats.
Thomas the Tank
Super Nintendo with Super Mario All-Stars, DKC Trilogy, and Goof Troop

God damn you guys for making me feel this old. I turned 18 in 1993. I joined the Army in 1994. I met the woman who would be my wife in 1997, and got married in 1999.

Some of you weren't even born yet.
Show off.

Ah yes, the 90s. I remember picking up my copies of The Time Machine and War of the Worlds on their respective release days. Taking the Orient Express from Paris to Constantinople on my summer holiday. The first Olympics. The dreaded Greenwich Observatory attack.

Truly, it was a decade like no other.

I don't.
30 is still...
*sigh*

OT: tye dye shirts
side pony
polka dots
lots of neon
teased bangs
tights with socks with tennis shoes was cool
I played a lot of super mario bros, duck hunt, pacman, donkey kong, zelda
watched a lot of Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Fragglerock..

I had an okay childhood.

My life is obviously better since then as I've grown a bit wiser with age and experiences.

Welcome to the town of "Diligence." I'm Mayor Due.

I'm currently in the works of rebuilding my plaid shirt collection. I have yet to bald either, so the shaggy hair may return as well. Now all I need is a pair of Docs and woo

Also. watch "Singles" for a good dose of 90's bliss.

I remember when music channels and shows played music and not stories about pregnant 16 year olds.

  • 12.19.2012 8:29 PM PDT

Played Commander Keen and Jill of the Jungle.

I also miss the show Robot Wars.
