So...after pretty much the most epic/apocalyptic cutscene know to man, the current 'version' of Final Fantasy XIV came to a close.

Is anyone excited by the new reincarnation at all? It seems like SquareEnix is breaking their backs to fix the game after the rocky foundations that the original game set.

So Flood...what do you think?

I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

It looks cool, but where's dat Star Ocean 5?

That's right. I just dropped some AOL IM protocol.

Always loved FF. But 11 and 14 never got the acclaim that the single player entries did.
Plus, when I buy a game I want to own it. Not spend $15 a month to play something I purchased.
Which is why Guild Wars 2 intrigues me. But my PC is unworthy.

Subscription based games often have more content released more often, as well as quicker bug fixes and such. I'm not saying this is always the case, there are exceptions to the rule.

Also, I would rather pay £9.99 a month for 1 game I absolutley love and play for 8 years, than spend £300 a year on games I grow tired of. But again, that is a matter of opinion.
