I absolutely love making backstories for my characters. My morrowind imperial warrior character, Decimus is the older brother of my oblivion imperial thief character, harlow. Before the events of morrowind they lived together with their parents in skyrim, they decided to move to cyrodiil in 3E 425. Decimus became a merchant in the imperial city and became framed for a murder in 3E 427 and was sent to prison, which lead up to the events of morrowind. Harlow became a courier and stayed that way until 3E 431 when he had to deliver a very important package to hammerfell and bandits stopped him on the way there. They took it from him, nearly killed him, and left him to die. He was fired for his failure to deliver. He became an independent mercenary afterwards, and in 3E 433 he was hired to kill a khajiit skooma drug lord in elsweyr. He failed, and the dealer decided to frame him for the massacre of a small village in elsweyr, and got him sent to the imperial prison, which lead to the events of oblivion. Later on he killed the skooma drug lord, settled down, and had a family. From this bloodline, my skyrim character, Decimus, intentionally named after his x10 great uncle of the same name, was born. Decimus grew up in the imperial city and worked as a vampire hunter and mercenary for 2 years after becoming an adult, afterward he ended his operation in cyrodiil and moved on to skyrim, leading to the events of Skyrim.
TL;DR: My skyrim character is the 10x great grandson of my oblivion character who was the brother of my morrowind character.
