Canadian Nazism is a polite ideology, ok?"Into the boxcar now... there you go. Oh, watch your head. Here, let me help you... Yep, showers are right through there. No problem at all."

I'll own up to it - I have plenty of male friends that I keep around because they're useful or their attention is flattering. But, well, I'm in a relationship. If they're expecting something different, they're very clearly barking up the wrong tree. :P
In the end, they either get something out of their friendship with me, or they're suckers. Not really my problem either way. I don't think it's an exclusively female-to-male dynamic, either. Works both ways. I know a few guys who are excellent at getting girls to follow them around and give them whatever they want, but have no intention of ever dating any of them. Some people are just better at playing that game than others, I guess.I would say that taking advantage of suckers isn't all that great behaviour, but of course I'd be a bit of a hypocrite. Still, I don't think someone should complain about a friend trying to take their relationship to the next level when they've intentionally perpetuated those feelings in the first place in order to reap the rewards of a "pseudo-boyfriend" if you will (or girlfriend).
