Nothing can survive the blast itself, of course, but they seem to be resistant to radiation (relevant). Insecticide, on the other hand, has agents that are lethally toxic to them.
Suprisingly, what they managed to find after a blast, were bacteria who sealed themselves off in their hard outer shells (endosperm)Interesting. I partially retract my statement then, and I'll say that no complex organism can survive the blast, although even bacteria are somewhat complex (dat flagellum).
