Subject: Is Communism better for a homeless man?

During the Soviet Union, people who moved to the union were issued a house, a job, and a set rate of pay for the job they were assigned. To me, that sounds like there wouldn't be homeless and you basically have a guaranteed way of life. Sure, there is no real chance of getting a better income and such unless getting a job within the actual government, but to that sounds much better than living in the streets if you ask me.

Aside from secret police, starvation, and tyrannical oppression, sure! That would sound great! Who would have honestly wanted to move to the Soviet Union, though?...

I don't think this is even worth a discussion, unless anyone else here has information from primary sources like I do.

Lee Harvey Oswald

He was issued a house, a job, and a set rate of pay. You'd be surprised at how many actually went to Russia.

Moscow is fairly wealthy relative to other parts of Russia.

Yeah it was still pretty damn poor so you can imagine it was much worse else where.

Dating Age

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

Homelessness wasn't a huge problem. One of the upsides of a command economy I guess. There was still rampant poverty. Homelessness wasn't a major issue until the end of the Soviet Union and after its breakup.
