Subject: Was Pokemon Colliseum a more "mature" Pokemon?

I vaguely recall the game for the gamecube but I remember it being much more darker than your standard pokemon game.

You play as a badass anti-hero at first, and the ability to steal trainer pokemon and get shadow pokemon was a bit cool as well, giving moral decisions to the player.

I really found it to be much less light hearted, and yet, it was still playable for kids obviously. I can't remember a pokemon game that was more darker than it, but I haven't really played any of the new ones. Thoughts?

I enjoyed the game very much, its story was very refreshing in comparison to the handheld pokemon games.

Certainly. I enjoyed the darker route taken with Coliseum. It added new depth to the game that other Pokemon games do not offer.
